The question isn't whether a warrior is a worse teacher for a druid novice than a druid; it's whether a warrior is a worse teacher for a druid novice than no one.

Regarding Houses in Achaea - sure, it was easy to accept the new system for the elder and regular players. But I think most novices don't appreciate it too much...

before autoclass, things went smoothly.

Newbie A beats up newbie B. Newbie B screams and throws a tantrum at Newbie A and insults Newbie A. Newbie A lies about entire incident. HoN sends Newbie A to their guild and speaks to their HoN in respectable terms about proper punishment. The rest is handled by them. Newbie B gets punished for insulting a fellow Achaean, despite affiliation.

No. Even before Autoclass, some Guild leaders were letting their members run wild and replying 'it's not my problem' to this sort of situation. Autoclass wasn't the only reason Achaea went downhill.

Precisely, and I think that a good argument can be made that "no one" is better than the "wrong one." Some people have pointed out suggestions that may mitigate this concern (having detailed scrolls for other guilds accessible across guilds, etc.), but I don't think the concern is inherently ludicrous.

EDIT: Also, it might be more precise to say that the question is whether a warrior now is a worse teacher for a druid novice than a druid three days from now.
