Dwarven Hammerer/Imperial Witch Hunter seem the most appealing at the moment.

I don't need another game to pull me away from lusternia then leave me disatisfied, more poor then when I left, and angry....

The only playable factions are, Dwarves, Empire, High Elves for the good side, against Orks and Gobbos, Chaos and Dark Elves for Evil. It seems to be more built around PvP and actually having sieges and stuff like that.

As for Nerra's question about being a Knight, there are no Bretonians, but you can be an Empire Knight, I forget which order it was.

Sun Order. Pansies. As if they could deal with Witch Hunters or Black orcs.

Since WAR is creeping ever so slightly to it's ohh so ambiguous release date, I thought I'd check to see who is gonna be playing. I know of a few people in Lusty that will be other than myself.

I'm gonna be going Order with one of the tank classes, I was leaning towards the High Elf Swordmaster, since I thought they were gonna go with the dual wield, but no, they had to crush my dreams. The Knight of the Blazing Sun looks pretty good, though who can say no to Ironbreakers.

The vid's from Beta and released footage make it look so good, except they always cut out after a few deaths, and it's always small group fighting. I want to see WAR!

Eventually (probably won't be playing at the start), either:

Empire: Bright Wizard.
High Elves: Shadow Warrior.
Greenskins: Choppa.
Chaos: Marauder (though I really wish they'd done Nurgle instead of Tzeentch).

I'll be playing for sure with a bunch of people I played with for years in Dark Age of Camelot. And yes, with Mythic being the creators, this game is heavily focused on PvP/Siege rather than PvE (like WoW).

This game looks tight. I want to check it out, but I probably can't play it on my laptop (though I can play DAoC just fine with good graphics). Anyone know the system requirements?

I'm hoping they release the information on the KotBS in the feb release, they look pretty interesting for a tank.

Telrath, Morvior and I were all gonna play chaos. When it does come out, we should decide on a server. Think of the hijinx and epic battles we can have!

Pah, Destruction is for wimps, everyone knows you need to go Order with the Empire and their crotch stuffing!

That being said, I wouldn't mind going starting a regiment with Lusty players, but I dont really want to go Destruction, everyone'll go destruction.

Nah, man, my top choice is definitely either High Elves or Empire. Bright Wizards look really fun to play (and those crazy mustaches are an awesome bonus, if I do say so myself), as do Shadow Warriors.

If we end up playing Destruction, Greenskin > Chaos any day.
