We're all stunned speechless at the moment, and completely incapable of complaining. The most powerful defensive effect in the game and it was handed to an entire org.

The fact that you posted in the manner that you did, just screams to me that you can see how unbalanced that construct is, even if you refuse to admit it.

Questions!

1) Does the field of protection works the same as reading a protection scroll?
2) If yes, if the field is stripped by a mage or druid, does the angelic buff wears off?

They could just mean a generic damage reduction field maybe? No clue.

And wasn't the whole defense in favor of trueheal the point that it had to be done with 10 power (which is unlikely in a combat situation)? Doesn't this... negate that completely?

The fact that I posted it in the manner I did was not in relation to it's balancing factors, but rather speaks of the general lusternian hatred of Trueheal, and the fact that this construct will merely exacerbate that problem, which I find utterly hilarious.

Yes, it's powerful. So is lich for all. Personally, I'd prefer no exp loss anywhere as opposed to this, but hey, that's just me. Estarra flat out shot down any ideas of ours for an ability that was anything even resembling lich.

No, the defense is.. well i've never really gotten it. 10power's really not that bad in combat. Just stop using power skills and you can get it back rightquick.


The only reason I use lich personally is so I can get my willpower back (a poor man's refresh me). Lich is near useless as far as I'm concerned.

- No day penalty (no -1 str/int 60% of the time)
- ColdAura (sucks)

Non-liches
- Can become undead, gaining lichdom as a skill (essentially)

- Free honor, can affect entire city with aura now
- Free benediction
- Free sacrifice on aura users (small upgrade to rezz sacrament users, large power saving for all other Celestians)
- Free ressurect (ditto)
- One FREE trueheal (no power for the best defensive skill)

Non-sacrament users
- Can now be effected by benediction
- Can now be effected by honor
- Allow sacrament users to rezz them for free
- One 10p trueheal (I say one, but you can just go back and get the aura again, easy as pie.)

Edit: Everything is "fine" except the no power trueheal. Giving 2/3 of an org a free trueheal is f'in stupidly OP. I mean it's not even close to being fair to the other orgs.

For the people that had trueheal to begin with-actual Sacraments users-10p is a LOT in combat. Especially for Knights who so often lunge. And we all know how much power a Celestine has to use to keep up any type of offensive.

Anyways, we as the rest of the Orgs in Lusternia, have only one thing we can possibly do, we need to all ban together and destroy this construct and NEVER EVER LET IT STAY BUILT.

If we do this for long enough, Celest will probably want something they can use, and that the whole rest of Lusternia, won't come in and destroy whenever they can.

It is either that or we may as well write up treaties with Celest now. Or just Call Lusternia - "Celest, the City of Everything" and make the rest of the orgs just villages in Celest.
