Actually I think someone should post a thread with all the constructs so far, so that they can see how balanced/unbalanced they are.

And this will help set the tone for the Glom construct, maybe even letting you get a balanced construct in the process Ashy!!

Hence why I did not immediately launch into a rant because I wanted to know the specifics about the ability before making any conclusions as to it's strength. I was merely pointing out to Aesyra that, from what could be understood merely by the information we had, it seemed to grant some of us abilities we already had.

No! OP DarkRebirth! Just because it's in Crow doesn't mean it's all that Crowish of a skill. They're just greedy spirits.

For Dark Rebirth, you first have to die and the sweet, sweet 80% DR would be up permanently! (Just imagine me with 80% reduction...omg)

Considering your cudgel did 400 odd damage and your demesne about 800, just taking 100 and 200 damage would've helped a lot.

The protection field isn't that awesome.

The prayers are useable while prone, but require balance/eq and are still subject to web/entangle/transfix/stun.
You can only use them once every 6 seconds.
They take 2 seconds of eq.

Laetitia is better (targetable at others) and only takes 2 seconds eq.
Puella only takes 3 seconds and is targetable.

The construct upkeep is 600 power, 1.2k gold per IG month.

Basically, not worth the cost.

In response to Elostian, I would give Estarra a 9 as an admin, simply because the story and core mechanics in Lusternia are better than any other MUD I've seen and she obviously works hard on it. Thing is, she really needs to discretely create some characters and start PvPing. It's been made clear many times that despite her many good traits, she doesn't have a first person understanding of the PvP here, or she would have realized that the thought of people chaining trueheal even once in a fight would send players into a rage.

Anyway: Yep, I love Lusties storie and Background. The races are the best I have seen in any game, as well. PvP...I don't know, a few things seem VERY out of whack, but usally, I think it's quite nice. Gooo on with the good work, Adminteam. ^^

Uhm, 2 second eq loss to shield... takes Jello the tae'dae 6 seconds normally. Probably 3 then for a tae'dae but still, that like takes away half of my racial disadvantage since I'll probably never need to shield more than once in a row to begin with.

There is no denying it's a nice construct and has some nice features. The shield prayer is quite nice. We're grateful for getting the chance to test it a bit and I doubt anyone is going to come here and whine about it.

But when and whether to put the construct up is an IC decision for Celest. Shouldn't really matter to anyone else at this point given that I think it's pretty clear it's not overpowered.

Heh. it will be raised, if you don't want to, I am sure one of the many gods in Celest will have it raised. And while it isn't way OP per say, it is by far the best construction there is by far. So, if you don't raise it, you will just be denying yourselves the best construction IG.

You had said that the envoys spoke about this construct this morning with Estarra. One question: How many Celest envoys were present? To be as fair as possible, shouldn't representatives from all organizations be present?
