A certain Mes'ard had a silly trigger to steal the corpses, which resulted in rather more deaths for Kalodan than absolutely necessary.

(The same guy apparently has a trigger to put all his vials in his pack to keep his inventory clean, which has also resulted in his death a couple of times. Sigh.)

well in gehn's defense it only wasted the first sacrifice. Kalodan also had another wasted sacrifice that was my fault. I tried to rez someone and it said the body could not be located. kalodan provided one and it said that person is not a moonchilde...
we need something in our honors to show moonchildren like people are archliches and such

The handful of Magnagorans (Daevos, Ildaudid, etc) that i asked were happy to swap. I'll continue polling people.

One of your more entertaining features is the ability to completely forget the points of those people who disagree with you. You will remember that I am completely pro the crypt, which I think is absolutely bloody brilliant. Most Magnagorans are of my opinion. That you can even pretend to the contrary implies the most extraordinary talent for self-delusion.

Aiakon, you don't count, we all know behind those robes in yer avatar, hides a Merian nyahnyah.gif

I like the crypt, but I would not mind losing lich (since I am a tracker), just to make people happy if they had such a huge problem with a skill that is so easily (yes easily, maybe not as easy for a warrior to do) stripped.
Theomar2007-03-26 14:35:39
I don't even use lich as an experience loss preventative.

I died during the Supernals once, and had vitae up, and dropped my greataxe to one of the attacks. As luck would have it, acquisitio picked it up for me, but I don't want to run that risk again.

Not with Raz, she will still make you drop things, no matter how much you grip or how selfish you are. Prolly the only Supernal/Lord with that megaskill smile.gif

Dude, if I lost my flails to that, I'd just give up on flails and move to wounding. tongue.gif

Yea its a little crazy, but at least Paladins and Ur'Guard work through honor when that comes around, and 90-100% of the items get returned. When they don't we get the name of who is keeping them, then it is coule/rap knuckle/shieldbreak time. Yarrr pirate.gif

Glad Warriors, have an honor thing, since half of them are forgers and know how ridiculous it is to make a decent weapon.

No, you don't know we have it in character. Don't blur the lines of reality!

And I'm done, off to my half day at work I go.

I have every reason to offer the corpses IC, the reasons for my not doing so are entirely OOC.

Dylara - yes, but you get free immolations on that person. No one prays!

No actually, they are sacrificing their corpse for another.

There is home territory conglutination however. tongue.gif

You weren't around when I asked people. Hurr

Personally, I think the New Improved Angelfont is brilliant. A separate healing balance with a choice of five things you can do sounds awesome, in terms of being a great additional power, having a Celest feel, and being strategically interesting. It's powerful enough to be worth defending and maintaining a construct, but not overpowering. Kudos to everyone involved in the redesign, and kudos to the admin for moving so quickly on this.
Ceren2007-03-26 21:08:56
It's not a seperate healing balance. That's what I thought it was and I thought it was brilliant too, but it turns out prayers are spells you have to spend equilibrium on just like any other.

Shieldsmash, anyone?
Unknown2007-03-26 22:18:46
I agree that it would be nice if the Prayers were on a single seperate balance, so you could use one prayer every 5-6 seconds regardless of equilibrium/balance, just like a healing scroll. I can't really see that as making it over-powered, but I can definitely see it being seen as useful for everyone. And maybe Sacarments users could have a lower balance time on the prayers? So maybe 4 or 5 seconds for Sac users, and 6 seconds for non-Sac users?

Edit: Oh, one other question... what strips the Angelic aura, since obviously death doesn't?
Razenth2007-03-26 22:27:48
Governor said Angelfont was a waste of power and wasn't going to be built. sad.gif

So basically you want Celestians to get a free sip, allheale, or SHIELD every 5-6 seconds for no cost. Yeah, um, no.

Night has Drink, which is similar. Bards produce similar. Stag Totem does similar. Fae do similar. Aquamancy has SweetFont.

Shamarah2007-03-26 22:40:07
Drink only works in shadows. WyrdSong (the shielding thing) only works in wyrden environments and only ticks when bard songs do (10-12 seconds?) and personally I think it's imba. Sweetfount only ticks when demesnes do (every 10 seconds). The other things you named do extremely minor curing to stats, whereas I'm guessing the prayers would are more on line with puella/laetita/magician (as they'd be pretty pointless otherwise). Also, all of these abilities are balanced around the classes they're given to; prayers aren't.

I agree that the construct isn't worth building though.
