TUNING FORK
Using the fork, a bard may lengthen the duration of a stanza of a song or sustain some of the songs from the Music skillset (e.g. Perfect Fourth). To use this, one must be wielding it and continually RAP FORK to sustain the sound.

LUTE/LYRE/VIOLA/etc.
-Can be Customized-
Instantly bonded and at maestro to the bard, this instrument is stronger than any other bonded instrument and songs played for starhymn/etc etc are longer per stanza.

I think that might be a little overpowered. Tuning fork is from Achaea -- and instruments can already come customised if you talk to the Trademaster of an artisan cartel.

Heh never played Achaea. However, remember this is artifact, so artisans can't make it. So it's a "customised artifact".

Tuning fork seems nice.

The other thing, however, is a no. Artifacts that raise the bar so that you almosgt have to buy them to be on par with others in combat are bad.

Isn't that the point for artifacts?

I agree with those who say this is a bad idea, but if it were to happen, it'd be a rune you attach to an existing instrument, not an actual instrument.

whichever works. I know Imperian has 2 artis. One's like a rune which attaches to the instrument, the other's the actual instrument.

Lots of bards there do both.

In Imperian bards and instruments work very differently from how they do in Lusternia.

A rune which allows you to shoot lasers from a lute.

Hrm, maybe toss us another illusions based artifact? Maybe give us some specific illusion objects. Such as a globe which only casts the illusion of the night sky. Or a ring that has an illusion that you an use which causes the user to pulsate with a dark aura or sommat.

Nothing really too fancy, just a few minor things.

Minorsecond, the Bard attack, is 100% Magical, source and damage. Esoteric Authority/whatever other magic runes will effect it.

As for the idea of a customizable instrument: No. That's essentially a direct copy of the Champion artifacts (Automatically bonded, increased damage, increased song time.)

That is not lasers. I mean the lutes going "Pew Pew" and killing people.

When attached to certain pieces of clothing it turns them into a container, meaning you can put items into them like into a pack. (Perhaps only robes, hats... things where it makes sense. )
