Sortable Rift Lists
I guess I can do this myself by investing in pocketbelts or something. But, it would be nice to do a IR and commodities show up, then herbs, etc.

Commune/City Cartel ClanHelps (or would be be CartelHelp?)
I just think that would be a nice idea. Private cartels and clans have them, so why not the org cartels?

Assistant Trade master
I'm not very familiar with the design submission procedure, but if I can remember right only Trademasters can submit them. I was wondering, what do you guys think of an Assistant that is either elected or picked my the trade master, who can also submit designs? Maybe have this option in the organizational cartels. That way there's always someone around (hopefully) to run the cartel.

I know if you are unhappy with the current leadership you can always just challenge the current Trademaster, but I like my idea smile.gif. But, how about if the current trademaster is inactive, for X amount of time, the assistant can just assume power without the need to contest and win elections. Now that I think of this, would this be a fair system?

Or, what about this: To keep the trademaster as active as possible, how about making a requirement that at least one public or private design must be sent every year or so or they would risk the position? By making this a requirement, would that bring down the quality of the designs?

I had more, but I didn't right them down and forgot all about them.
Anyway, thanks for reading my brainstorming session!

Interesting. I don't like the bit about forced designs, because if something is forced, it shows, but I would like to hear more on the assistant TM idea

Sortable rifts, CartelHelp and Vice-TM sound great to me. Not sure about the forced submission.

I could probably come up with a script to sort rift items in zMUD in about 10 minutes or so. Still, it would be easier to have it built in to Lusty rather than me having to write it (for those who don't know yet, I'm lazy).

Are you suggesting typing IR would work like II ?
If so, I like it.

I forgot you could do that. But yea, that's exactly what I've been thinking.
