Middle Magic:
Based on the Elemental planes:
Invoke Air
Invoke Water
Invoke Earth
Invoke Fire
Invoke Smoke
Invoke Mud
Invoke Mist
Invoke Brimstone
Invoke Dust
invoke Lightning
etc...
Gematria - for Guardians
Taking highmagic sephirot and adding numbers to them as well as words. I could have a list if I knew what sephirot system Estarra got highmagic from. But the skilset could do anything. It would use the divine language as skills.

Adding numbers makes it sound like Numerology from Aetolia; adding words is a lot like Voice from Imperian. Plus, I thought there was the pre-existing condition that mortals couldn't speak Divine? (Judging from the bookbinding skill that lets us read/write but not speak)

A guardian or wiccan skill as an alternative to tarot/hexes called Soulpiercing (bad name, could be something else). Basically would involve throwing spiritual, invisble "barbs" at the target that are bound from your soul to a body part of the target's by strands of aether, which could be pulled free with effort from the target. Once the barbs are in you could cause minor effects by sending a surge of energy down a given barb - ie. surging a barb connected to the opponent's head could give stupidity, to the legs or arms could break those limbs, etc. Also, you could rip the barbs out for greater effects - ie. concussion, mangled limbs, massive bleeding, etc. Also, if you have multiple barbs in a target you can combine the surges/rips for greater effects, and if you can get a barb in all seven limbs and manage to rip all seven at once it'd be an instakill.

Threadcraft
By taking hold of the minor threads of the tapestry that permeate the First World, you are able to weave basic shapes from them in a near semblance of life.
Basically, as you progressed in the skill, you'd be able to control more and more threads at one time, going from maybe. Most of the other skills would be to do with the creation of various creatures - not too mundane, though. They'd get more fanciful higher up.. Each creature would take a certain number of threads to control, and you couldn't create creatures that costed more threads than were currently in use. If a creature died or was unravelled, you would regain those threads.
The creatures you made would be loyal to you - each creature would have some abilities of its own, as well. (e.g., birdlike creatures could fly, fishlike can swim, etc.) and one of the skills, maybe Master, would be picking a Weaving to entwine around your Thread in the Tapestry. This being would , like Ecology bonds, kill you if it died, but it would have more health than other weavings, and you would be able to use the basic BOND commands with it, i.e. Move, look, recall.
Maybe the penultimate skill would be the creation of a particularly powerful Weaving, and at Transcendent you would gain the ability to possess your bond, and you'd be able to speak through it and move it around as if it were yourself. Your body would be left behind, unconscious.
I'm not really sure what archetype this could go with, but I'm still sort of proud of it.

I like the idea, however... seven limbs?

More love for Warriors
They get almost no variety, while every other class but the Bards get at least 3 tertiary skillset... and Warriors have been longer than Bards

I like the idea a lot, Shamarah! Keep 'em coming!
Ytraelux - That's an interesting idea, but I fear two things. 1) That it may border too much on tracking. We don't want to tread on any toes. I'm not saying that there shouldn't be any ideas with pets, but it's difficult to think up an array of things that pets can do, that are different from what already exists in tracking. 2) I don't think it would be fair to give anyone the power to create a thread in the weaving of fate (with the exception of procreation. Let's not go there.) That'd imply such a high amount of power that I don't think it would be very realistic in the world of Lusternia.

yeah but healing does just about nothing. every wiccan or guardian is better of going with astrology rather than healing I think. Healing needs a lot of love cause right now it's terrible

Corinthian - I love Bleach as much as the next person, but we also don't want to tread on Crow's talons. They already have a face paint option. Is there some way we could come up with a mask skillset and make it unique and original?
Once again I'd like to emphasize that this should be more about NEW skillsets, rather than old ones. Save your grief on the old skillsets for either another thread, a bug report, an IDEA (help ideas), or some other manner. Please keep this thread strong with new ideas!

So, I updated my first post to be ridiculously long. Flame on!
EDIT: In hindsight, some of my ideas are pretty lame. I got caught in the moment, I guess.

We could change the RP of that to manipulating the Aether or the Cosmic threads. And the bonding thing could be re-explained by saying that you mingle the threads that make up your person to those that make up the Weaving.
Also, I was thinking more about an Army of small creatures, not one big creature that does lots of thigns. The bonded creature wouldn't have many, if any, abilities other than the basic bond commands and the Possess thing, eventually, though I admit that maybe Possess wasn't such a good idea.

Psh... I was talking about something different
The mask was just an example
What I'm sayng is that Warriors could focus on the arcane in order to achieve their buffs... trinkets of any kind.. maybe painted runes or otherwise.. what I'm getting at is having warriors the ability to open up more to the arcane Lusternia gives every player

Hrm,
Masks?
Some toss outs for those looking into masks. I'm not very good at making whole skillsets, so these are just ideas. Abeit, very basic ideas.
Flamemask: Fashion a mask which allows you to breathe flames (Something like Dracnari?)
Icemask: Mask that breathes cold damage
Clearmask: Allows you to see in duststorms, blizzards, etc...
Watermask: Breathe underwater.
ScaryMask: Dunno, helps you with depowering denzins?
Mawmask: Allows you to bite someone, dealing so much damage and bleeding?
Facemask: Requires 3 sketches of the target. While wearing this mask, you appear to be the person the mask is designed after.
Cheerfulmask: Helps with empowering denzins.
Maybe some way to bond to your mask and leave it at a location and listen and see through it?
