So, one of the reasons permanent rifts were created according to Estarra was so that warriors could move around a bit easier without help. Now that we have constructs that do that and do it easier, can we have permanent rifts removed? Does anyone like them? Anyone not like them?

Now that there are no permanent rifts next door to Avatars or what not I'm in favour of keeping them and adding more. I think the only problem with them is the way they seem to be used just to have an easy entrance/exit for raiding rather than serving as travel aids.
Of course, that's to be expected when nearly every plane is divided into two and only two polar opposites that are mutually hostile. More neutral-ish territories to transverse through would help I think.

actually the catacombs one is necessary since the second level of the catacombs is broken. Without it if all the other non permanent ones were unravelled then there's literally no other way to the bottom

Perhaps you can let others know your true motivations in making this thread, meaning what prompted you to suddenly want the perm rifts gone?

I like them, and used to use them back when I was a city warrior. Dunno what the constructs do that would require their removal. >.>

I'd like them gone so all our hard work can't be removed so easily in the catacombs. Plus, there is one in each of the elemental lords areas, making it rather hard to have them killed for either side.

You mean you want it gone from spectre island so that Celest doesn't have to fight to keep the catacombs? Your hard work? You all kept catacombs for a day or two (and blew up lusternia's deathsight with all the celestian deaths in it, I am sorry and I don't mean to make fun but really I normally don't see that many deaths in catacombs until you all kept it for a couple days), try keeping it for years. Hard work is when Narsrim and I used to go back and forth every day unravelling each others rifts.
And unfortunately, I would love for that rift to be removed, but the second level of the catacombs has been bugged forever, and ever since people had the need to nerf bond seek, there would be no way for anyone to get in or out, if there wasn't that permanent rift.

Well, the catacombs basically are the only bashing place you can own in sense, as in, restricting access. It is very good gold too, and you can get the blessing.

I have to comment on this. This is what hurts Lusternia as a whole. The bashing areas can actually be controlled by a certain group of players, cutting off the other's access.
