Are the black roses in Glomdoring also for that quest?

No, they are part of the Wyrd event.

heh. Don't you remember how Faethorn used to be?
While I'm not taking sides in the thread's topic, I did want to note for the sake of it: the problem with Faethorn was how unending it was. The Crow/Hart quests could only be done once per moon cycle. So while the communes could well find themselves annoyed at constantly having to relight the Flame and rewhatever the Drums and raise Hart and raise Crow, at its worst, that'd be a fraction as bad as Faethorn was, back in the days of the Ethereal Watch.

I think if conflict quests happened once a month and it wasn't too pointless, but not insanely time consuming, nobody would have a big problem with them. The forum community asked for a tweak (Ladantine/Marilynlith or however that name is spelled), and we got a big over the top nerf.

And to Forren: We once had this really neat quest that began with the raising of Crow in Glomdoring. Then Glomdoring came along and Serenwilde really wasn't letting it go and the Admins disabled the quest.
There are no words to express how completely lost I am after reading that.
As for Daganev, I didn't know about needing creatures from the sea. That's pretty cool. On the beta server the skeleton council had been wiped out so I spent a ridiculous amount of time to bring them back only to be thwarted because with all the org name changing and what not that happened, Brennan didn't recognize me. Very sad. But at least I had four zombie elfen following me around.

Err.. wtf why relight the Flame? I mean there should be a reason why you can empower it with up to 5000 little flamies. So only if those hit zero do you really have to 'relight'. Same for the drums in Glom and their shadows.

I just seem to bring that reaction from you, now don't I?
I said it was neat, because within my mind. It was neat. It was disabled. Viravain even told you it was on Beta and Lisaera told us that She was protecting Hart from Crows attacks.

The time I did it was because Viravain had extinguished it so She could kill White Hart. The time Gregori did it, I think was because Magnagora had done the Crow quest to extinguish it; this was before that quest was disabled, mind you.

Heh, I'm just confused because you said we had a neat quest that started by raising Crow. I know trying to raise Crow was a Hartstone pasttime early on but I'm just confused as to who 'we' is in that sentence.

We as in, the Communes.
Glom was just a baby when it was disabled, so it never really got used by both.

Oh, right right. I'm on the same page now.
