Allow me to clear this up, since as far as I know Zenji isn't trans healing. You can bedevil while paralysed and with broken arms. Only the arm breaks will actually transfer, but the paralysis will be cured at least. The only things I can think of right now that stop bedevil are prone and entangle (besides the obvious stuff like blindness and pacifism).
Also, offensively curing insomnia/deafness/blindness aren't feasible tactics, but not because they're design flaws. Healing others has like a 3-4 second balance. The only one you might get away with is insomnia because a lot of people don't have that line triggered.

I'm pretty sure prone doesn't stop it, but I could certainly be wrong. We made most forms of prone not stop it, but I'm not sure if any remain as hinderances (I would assume stun does, at least).
