Also, you're clearly wrong about the show saying when something is real and when it's not, daganev. The whole Candice character puts the lie to that.
What do you mean by that? You always know when it is an illusion. Unless I'm remembering it wrong.
I've never seen them do something like say "This is real" and then it turns out not to be.
Xinael2007-10-16 20:34:54
Pretty much any time Candice appears, that's what they do. Take when Bennet's confiding in his wife in series 1, or when Sylar is disguised as Nathan in the alternate future, or any number of other times. Also, Eden was deceitful for a long time, now I think about it.
Regardless, nobody's actually confirmed that it was a real person or that it wasn't. The claim that it was a flying person is just as supportable as the claim that it wasn't a real person from the evidence in that scene. It's only because of the way Angela was attacked that leads me to think that it was another mental attack.

Also, how did the invisible man die? or which episode? I don't seem to remember that.
Xinael2007-10-16 21:12:36
He's not dead. If you're going to suggest that he attacked Angela, I'd ask why he didn't just stab her or shoot her when she didn't even know he was there. Also, I wonder if Matt could read his thoughts without seeing him?

Well, sure. He read Niki and Jessica's thoughts in that stairwell last season before he actually laid eyes on her/them, didn't he? I'm 93% sure he did anyway.

You people can't seem to let Candice go. Zomg, straight from the horse's mouth. Clickey.
Saran2007-10-16 23:43:45
Yeah she is dead we know this (it's because Missy Peregrim quit and the other actress was just there to give closure apparently)
@Daganev, really if we didn't believe it was real we wouldn't understand what the nil Ando is going on about. If there was a character storyteller for that scene it would be Ando we see what he sees just as we were seeing what HRG saw when Candice was posing as his wife. If the viewers can never see something that isn't "real" then the writers are bound by that rule.
Also to clarify you almost never know it is an illusion until you find out that Candice was around(Seeing Simone walk in, Seeing Mrs Bennet, Seeing sylar and "michelle" on the beach, hell Candices appearance during the entire first season we were even lead to believe she had died and it was her real appearance but it wasn't)

Also, unsure of what to make of Nathan's vision of seeing half of himself scarred.
I thought that was Peter, post-exploding. Radiation and his skin sloughing off and all.

Ted was never harmed when he started going all explodey, so I see no reason why peter should be. I think it's more likely that that's Nathan's form after the explosion. I have no idea how he survived it, maybe peter managed to rein it in a little at the last second.
Also, I'm fairly certain that the Haitian had something to do with Peter's state. For a start, he lost his memory, and his necklace is identical to the Haitian's (who happens not to be wearing it anymore). Slightly confused as to why the Irish guy didn't take his necklace, if he took everything else, but what the hey.

Because it's just a necklace? It's not valuable. Credit cards, IDs, cash, watches and whatnot are.

I thought the box was left with him, by the blond girl who will appear next episode. Not that it was stolen from him.
Xinael2007-10-18 03:43:11
He says "You might want this... Peter. This here's everything you had on you when we found you. Credit cards, maybe a train ticket." Sounds like he took the things from him and put them in the box.

Wow...you memorized the dialog, including even where he paused! Even I'm not that good.
Shiri2007-10-18 12:31:48
He probably has the episode file still on-hand...

So I guess Peter was in the company of that electric woman before, hence picking up her power. He hadn't done it before, right?

Yeah, the lightning's new. I expected something in that box would bring his memories back, but oh well. Maybe the Electric Blonde will tell him and spark his memory.
EDIT: Pun not intended, I swear.

Wow, I hadn't even noticed that. I'm way behind...I didn't even stop and think about whose power he was using at the beginning of this season.

Adam Monroe.... is he Kensei?
apparently, in the Heroe's mobile game, Adam monroe is listed as one of the founders.
dum dum dum.
Also, I don't like that they are going into the future again. That plot device was neat once... why do it again? PAH!

I don't think he's Kensei. Not sure who he is yet.
I agree on the point with the future.
