That is the first time I have had to close a thread in a very long time, months being a very long time, and generally let you say what you want to say.

First thread you closed in months, and THAT was the one? You must either not read as many as some of us and/or you're stricter on the ones you do, or your standards (and apparently people's complaints) are very odd.

This is madness.

This is LUSTERNIA.

I so wanted Marjorie to say "this isn't play, this is work" one more time, so I could Sparta her and walk. Would have made excellent stories, and made me a lot happier about getting fired.

We could probably even use more moderators. Richter's gone inactive, hasn't he? Only this time, if another one is to be selected, it most definitely should not be done on a basis of post count.

No, actually, I haven't.

I believe I've said in the past that whatever my activity level in Lusternia is, I get emails whenever someone reports a post, plus I browse the forums on my own daily.

Ah, good. Still, more mods wouldn't hurt. wink.gif

I'm sorry to bring this up again, but I just want to know why exactly the thread in Common Grounds about advancement requirements and casual gaming was closed. It had no more mudslinging than almost every other thread on the forums, yet it was closed for reasons unperceivable, when the topic of the thread had a very valid point and discussion going for it. Unless there was a very good reason for closing that thread, then things have seriously gotten far more out of hand than they may or may not have done already.

I'm actually kind of surprised that this hasn't been closed yet. Not trying to accuse anyone of stifling dissent really, but it seems to have a slightly combative tone that makes me nervous about it's future.
