Strange glyphs and sigils are sporadically scrawled upon the page, but you find
yourself able to understand them.
You read what is written on the Scroll of Divine law:
Arix cannot under any circumstances become a Drug Lord.
-Dylara
Arix cannot under any circumstances become a Drug Lord.
-Magnora

MetaGamer!

There is no history of Druglords in lusternia for you to know if they often break laws or not *nod me*

Yeah but (usually) tests, and politics don't result in idiocy.

Violence is a needed, its a game for RPGers, in a fantasy realm.
Drugs, is pointless, causes problems, and attracts the immature one's who sit around and giggle about having drugs. It'll be like all those annoying people put together, with problems that the game introduced to itself. And I might be the only one, but I don't really feel like putting up with all these twitching withdrawn idiots rolling around on the floor.

I'm quite attracted to the idea of having drugs in Lusternia and I wouldn't "sit around and giggle about having drugs" at all. I also think that they would be quite the opposite of pointless and saying we shouldn't have them because they'll "cause problems" is the worst argument yet.

If you don't want to see them in the game because of personal reasons relating to your real life experiences that's all you need to say. There's no need to embellish a perfectly valid opinion with a lot of nonsensical arguments.

Psshhhhh at weed. It doesn't count since there's no addiction and thus no withdrawal.

Awesome idea... what about hallucinogenics that knock you unconscious (so your actual body just lies there), then you go to some kind of trippy wonderland, and once it wears off, you're left with something like Astral insanity.
Sort of like dreamweaving, I guess...

Drugs should have a positive side effect, or no one would use them at all in a game.
Unknown2007-04-29 00:17:27
A trippy wonderland isn't a positive side effect? :O

A drug similar TES's Moon Sugar/Skooma would be cool. (Maybe increase Strength and reduce Dex and Intelligence?)

Yes but with Skooma, the only correct way to use it is to eat 500 vials of it then kill someone in one blow using a iron dagger.

Can you actually do that? I haven't even managed to hit people with such low Agility, in Morrowind. But in Oblivion, yeah, that's crazy fun. :D

On this note, i think that mudsex should give you std's if yo'ure not careful (emote puts on 2 condoms just to be safe) and gods can peek in and see who's doing who, and give them a nasty case of the clap.

I never played Achaea when there was Gleam... but I'd heard of it. I thought it was a really interesting concept and I think it would be a very interesting addition to things here. I mean it'd be fun to see how orgs react to the new drug. Militaristic orgs maybe giving their soldiers the drug for the fighting benefits and once their people are truly addicted, using the withdrawls as a punishment. Other orgs would outlaw it and you'd have people using it illicitly for the benefits then getting caught when they ran out and started twitching and what-not.

Actually, most of the orgs in Achaea ban the use of gleam because of the addiction. Though there may be a good side to using it, the bad effects far outweigh it.

Ooo, I like the std idea. Down with mudsex! I also think it's be cool if we could get sick with colds and such from being out in bad weather for too long. We could use the healers as doctors.

Yes, I managed to kill the King of Mornhold by using massive numbers of fabricant potions to increase strength to about +350. He has a ring that acts like demi-divine fire used to, reflect 100% resist 100% regen hp/mp/ect/ect by X (insane number) but by stacking potions gathered over a very long time you can do so much damage in about 1-2 seconds you get him. happy.gif After I did that the rest of the game was a breeze, it was a legit god-mode.

Anywho backtopic.gif
