As a note.. the torture I was using on him costs 3 power each time and requires he stays entangled or paralyzed.

Looks like ~900 health and target's choice of ~300 bleeding or ~800 mana in clotting per torture. Less with chervil.

Staff looks to do ~1000 health, and negligible bleeding.

Which direction would you rather take the skill?

ETA - @Krellan I'm not arguing that Torture is right for the damage and power cost it has, or even comparable to staff, I'm asking Malarious if he wants to take torture toward bleeding, damage, decreased power, or something else entirely.
