The illusion specs (for those who don't know) are Glamours (bards) and Phantasms (mages), apparently.

Anyone got any extra info? Any Divine fancy divulging some select juicy pieces?

This is all the information that's been said on it if I remember right. I'd say its implementation falls somewhere between releasing Gaudiguch and Hallifax and Magnagora's return to total dominance on the Lusternian timeline.

I'm desperately hoping that Glamours will actually be decently offensive, because right now I'm not sure how an illusionist bard is suppposed to kill someone.

Ahhh I see ,from what i Understand is that your saying the illusions set will be completely changed and added to a more offensive capability? I am really going to like this myself, I never use illusions ever and it would be great with telepathy hopefully. Unfourently you think that this is going to come out sometime between the release of the new cities? if that's so then
I doubt it will ever happen because I have been waiting 90 in game years for them to get anything done with Gaudiguch.
(however if that's the case then perhaps this is what is taking up all the time! )

Mages don't need more offense in their Illusions, Bards really do. That's why the skill needs split into specs, and not just upgraded across the board.

EDIT: I offer a bet that in two rl years from now Gaudiguch and Hallifax still won't be open. 100 credits. Any takers?

that's cause we don't have enough players for it. we barely have enough to manage the four orgs we have now. and aren't they releasing liek two new muds by summer? one isn't a mud really since it's graphical, but still. I'm sure some players will go there which will bad sad
