Highmagic.. Lowmagic.. thoughts?

Are they balanced? which do you like better? why?

Lowmagic:
Yellow - Awesome
Summer - Awesome
Green - Awesome
Autumn - Double Awesome
Serpent - Awesome

Spring and orange can be helpful in situations, Red increases summoning resistance, which is actually noticeable, I think.

Blue does nothing.

Violet could use some upgraded, less intbased and more damage.

Winter...well, don't know if it has any reason to exist besides utility.

Highmagic:
Malkuth - Like Red
Yesod - nice
Netzach & Geburah - Both nice, one for warriors, other for influencers
Tipheret - Like summer
Gedulah - Like green
Binah - Can be useful if you go for a damagekill
Hexagram - Nice
Hod - hm, shouldn't cost power and maybe only cure one affliction
Greater Pentagram - Has it's uses, not as utilizeable as Serpent, but sure a lot better in specific things, like raiddefense and that stuff.

Kether - Same as violet

i always wish the forest had more highmagic users. greater pent is just so useful if you have someone active with it. as well as um what's it...hexagram! cause that goes through shields and cling

I miss highmagic for netzach. It makes a huge difference against telepaths to have that extra cha.

Telekinetic Mages?

And I always found lowmagic to be more useful overall, but there are also certain skills where highmagic rules. Like greatpent (I wanna!) and hexagram (geyser sucks (autocensor does too), especially after that bloody crow upgrade).

So people adore Lowmagic and not as much love for High?

simple solution is called buy a throne. You're rich right? those give +2 charisma for a day it hink it's a day. usable anytime all the time.

Meant Forcefield. But telepaths and defence against them works too. It's definitely not only of use for influencers.

EDIT: Throne lasts until logout. Stays up through death.

how much does netzach give? i thought it was only plus one...cause if it was it wouldn't do anything

Stacks with populus to be useful, in my experience, thereby yielding an extra +1 to me charisma stats.

oh, I don't know what populus is or what skillset it's in. my knowledge is usually limited to wiccans and then the usual things you see.

It's called "giving examples" . Geburah can also be nice for people who use shieldstun, for example.

Raikogen wants to trans environment for weathersight and then lay down winters whenever he fights. Why? I don't know.

Weird. Winter usually doesn't last that long and it doesn't block the relevant combat messages, I don't think? Plus it costs power.

High cha benefits telekinesis far more than telepathy - forcefield is a godsend for bashing as a low-con race (merian) and it helps further boost ego. However, with weighting, it doesn't do much if you have a throne and no TF. The only bonus that charisma gives now for telepathy is in debatekilling.

It's a tough choice.

I personally prefer highmagic, only regret is not having serpent. Hexagram, yesod, geburah are money. The rest are rather insignificant for me.

I like low magic, but miss hexagram, I can never get my damn geyser brooch to shoot people out of the sky

I think low magic is better with it's experience increasing skill (Autumn?) Though I guess as many pointed out, Highmagic is also useful. Would want to know how much bonus experience Low Magic gives though, before concluding anything.

10% experience bonus means little in the long run. If you're dedicated enough to get to a certain level, a little bonus will not matter. My climb to titan was mostly as other races, not as a titan.
