The voting cycle has reset! We did pretty decently with holding our No. 5 position and we almost held No. 4 for awhile (but Materia Magica is pretty darn competitive). Let's see if we can give them a run for their money!

I voted. I always forget to vote. Technically I can vote twice...once at work and once at home if I ever remember.

I would vote more often if the in-game voting reminder only reminded me when my vote would actually count. I've gotten really tired of getting the reminder, trying to vote more often than once a day, getting the "not within 12 hours" message and then not having my vote count for topguilds for who knows how many hours after that. Another 12 hours? I just am not going to remember the exact hour I last voted; why on earth can't the game remember it?

I bugged this a while back but got a "we have no idea what you are talking about" response.

I wonder...

1) Idiots! forum goes away.
2) Forum attendance drops to extremely low levels.
3) All of a sudden, Lusternia goes from regularly competing for #4, to... not even in the rankings.

If Lusternia is dependent on forum traffic rather than player traffic to promote itself, there's a bigger problem than how they rank on TopMuds.

That very well could be.

Doesn't really change that something has significantly changed how active the player base is about promoting Lusternia over the last month or two, though. A similar drop in activity has occurred on the forums, and the cause for that is known. It's not an impossible stretch to connect the two.
