As an aside, I have absolutely no idea how Discworld stays so high up on TMS all the time (it's a good old MUD, but man, is it archaic).

There is a lot of cheating on TMS and TMC with automated voting and such.....

There's probably no help for it, but let's do what we can.

I'm happy to say we have a nice lead of ~20 votes on Discworld! Let's see if we can't kick their butts! Soon we can unseat Achaea, and then all that's left is Aardwolf...

To be perfectly frank — I'm not hamming it up in any way — while I concede that Achaea's a good MUD, I believe Lusternia's a much better one. I had my choice of MUDs, and I settled on Lusternia, so that's probably self-evident.

If think the primary reasons Achaea continues to have a higher population than Lusternia are that 1.) Achaea is the original, most well known IRE game, and 2.) it's older, so people have their credits and characters' RP stories already tied up in it. Even if they try Lusternia and like it more, they won't want to leave their investments and accomplishments behind.
