Maybe Lusternia needs some system of reminding people to vote, or making it easy to have people see who votes?

In Imperian guild/city leaders can see who has voted or not and before the game started to get crappy the feature was actually used

CWHO voters or GWHO voters will show you who has and hasn't voted.
And, not really sure if/ the reminder can be set, but I know after I log in it gives me a reminder about it.

And, I reiterate, if anyone randomly uses that feature to tell me to vote, I will get very pissed off.

Voting should be made on the person's own decision, because that person believes Lusternia (or any other mud) is the best. Stress out BELIEVES. Brainwashing people at every step to vote is a very bad thing. Especially, checking CWHO VOTERS and telling others to vote - horrible RP, forcing others to do (theoretically) voluntary actions, etc.
Ah, one more thing - I used to vote for Lusternia, but after this topic came to life, I didn't vote a single time. I'm just such a rebelious person that if someone tells me to do something, I'll most definately not do it. Maybe some people will stop liking me (or hate me even more) after I write that... too bad.

Short version: vote if you feel Lusternia deserves it, not because others tell you to. And don't tell others to vote.

(and yes, my telling not to tell others to vote is little different from telling others to vote - I'm just a hypocrite)
