Voting has reset!

In Shadows of Isildur, players aren't told to vote, they are asked to if they want to support and vote for the MUD.

While IRE MUDs:


(Where "Lusternia" can be replaced with any of their MUDs.)

No one's forcing you to vote if you don't want to support the IRE games. Though I gotta admit the non-IRE version sounds better *grin*

10 votes would push Lusty up 5 or 6 spots at the moment, guys. Come on! Please?

Someone pointed out to me that you can vote on the Mudconnector. Yet another opportunity to spread the word! I've put up a vote link on the menu bar of the forums in case you want to vote for Lusternia on the Mudconnector (TMC) as well as TopMudSites (TMS).

Wow they are a bit serious with their votes. You have to put in a code and vote within one minute or it will be discounted.

Yeah, I noticed that too.... good thing they got rid of the hoops of fire you had to jump through ...

If they would only do away with the full body cavity search I would be happy.

My brain cheated, credits were at 2000 per. Anyway, I voted.

The Mudconnector receives a lot of traffic so, if it helps us bring in more new players, it is worth it.

I do admit the Mudconnector is strange in their ranking system, which can be seen in their Voting Rules. Apparently, votes currently only count for part of the way they calculate ranking, the other ways being if you visit the MUD's homepage from their website or if you try to connect using their telnet requests. So if you're a Lusternia fan who wants to help out, visit our homepage from the Mudconnector!

My own opinion is that TopMudSites' rankings are more visible and prestigious but am always on the lookout to attract new players.

Er... The two links are a bit spammy on that menu bar thing. Would it be possible to have it like this instead:

BTW, the sexually oriented tag at TMC was also for graphic violence. Hopefully, too, it would attract more mature oriented players.
