I can, however, name every single alt I have ever made, loosely oldest to newest.

well I guess I'd actually have no idea, but to me you naming that list just proves that you do. course anyone with more is free to tell me otherwise.

Bau and Clise are not alts of Soraka. I could tell you two of the alts on that list, but I'd probably get yelled at

Bau and Clise are two different people who have reputations of having lots of alts, I was trying to think of a third such person with a reputation of that nature, but couldn't think of one.

Thus, I was oh so cleverly implying that all the people who have reputations of having lots of alts, are all in fact the same person.

I come from Achaea, where there is a Violent Hatred against alts of all kinds. To be honest people don't really come TO Achaea from Lusty/Aetolia/Impy. It's kind of the other way round. So I can't say I have a lot of experience of how Achaeans treat transfers. I do know that they HATE alts though. My theory is that this comes from the general lack of RP in Achaea as a whole, but that would just be a guess, really.

So it's been REALLY nice to come over here and find that completely nonexistent. To be honest Lusternia is so different that I'm finding it as taxing to adjust to as when I transferred from Livejournal-based RPing to Achaea, but in that satisfying, enjoyable sort of way that's very encouraging. I'm getting used to it with some help ( Tael) and now really enjoying it.

(Not to mention it's always fun playing an incredibly hyper faeling in Lusternia, then switching to my snarky, grumpy Tsol'aa in Achaea!)

A bit belated, but..

I'm a transfer from Achaea, and at the moment I don't know why I still bother to place both MUDs at the same time. Lusternia's infinitely superior- if you're griefed, it's only to a certain extent. Hunting's much easier. People are much nicer. There's actually roleplay going on. There's no ARCHWAY TO MINIA and newbies prostituting eachother. There's no North of New Thera were people jump eachother, brag at their victim's now-dead soul/body, and general violent 'LOL WUT' 'ROFLCOPTER' 'LOLLERSKATES' 'PWN'.

I created a character, dropped Lusternia for a week or two because it was MEANT to be a refreshing break. Surprise, I came back again.

Since then, I'm hooked. And I'm trying to seduce every decent Achaean I know to get out of that stinking cesspool they're wasting their lives in.

Ahem...

If I could be online, I'd help you convince decent Achaeans to move over here.

I wouldn't go as far as stinking cesspool. I love Achaea and I am doing my darndest to promote RP over there. I can't invisage myself transferring entirely. It's just that here I find it much easier to plan long-term developments for my character and know that it will work - that people won't come charging in and kill everyone or start being retards and acting like I'm insane for RPing.

Basically I don't think I enjoy it more...I just find it not so much hard work. It doesn't make me want to constantly bang my head against the wall.
