Not just the hive names, but yeah.

EDIT: Man, this is fun to map.

I'll be using this a lot once I have the time.

OK, assignment is out of the way... so I have a bit of time to update the realm map. So far the update includes:

Serenwilde - Added 2 shops to commune, grove in SE, entrance and Guildhall of Spiritsingers, Nintoba's mausoleum (entrance only)
Avechna's Peak - Missing path up mountainside, updated Fulcrux, corrected Harmony Cave location.
Ethereal - Dark Nest in Etherglom, Mother Moon bubble
Undervault - Added it!
Celest - Syrinx Plaza Hotel, Cantor entrance.
Temples - Location of Fain, Shikari and Terentia temples.
Paavik - Missing cellar rooms.
Mountains - Roc nests, glade of isune
Blasted Lands - Gravedigger pit exits, giant serpent skull
Cubix Exits - Upper and lower fulcrux. (although I haven't been able to recheck those but I think they're accurate)

Apart from the Catacombs (I've sent a message to someone in Magnagora requesting permission, so I will at least give a try to mapping it soon, if I get access.)

Anything else I'm missing?

Mistakes on the current map? Let me know!

Just to warn everyone I've had to shift the maps of the planes from the left hand side, to down with the aetherbubbles to make the map as compact as possible with the addition of Undervault.

Love you Caffrey. <3
I probably wont be playing Lusternia without your maps. Seriously.

Wait, where could we find the updated map? The Lusty site doesnt have it yet. sad.gif

Your maps helped me navigate Magnagora back when I used to drop cakes. Without them I'd have died to guards. Thanks, Caffrey!

That's because it isn't finished, so I haven't sent it in yet!

Here you go...

edit: map moved to end of thread.

Thanks biggrin.gif

It makes the hours spent drawing little arrows between little squares completely worth it biggrin.gif

My manager (He was the guy who introduced me to Achaea and IRE) has been calling me "God of maps" at work this week. "Hey god of maps, did you finish that work yet", "Hey god of maps, you're getting in at 8.30am tomorrow or else", "Hey, god of maps, you're one hour late, you're buying me lunch today." tongue.gif Helped bring me back down to earth wink.gif

Just noticed a small error in the map. In the Deep Blue Cathedral in Celest, there should be an in/out exit going from the street to the centre room of the Catherdral, but you have the exit going to the SW room of it in your map. Hope that made sense. :/
Caffrey2007-05-19 12:57:54
Fixed smile.gif

Keep them coming please, sadly I am not omnipotent, so the more errors you point out now, the less there will be in the version I'm going to send in! I will update the attached each time I fix something.

I really believe that without Caffrey lusternia would be a dimmer place.

Thanks Caff :]

I've always wondered how you managed to map the Seas with all of the waves and such.

1: Flying.

2: Tons of patience and backtracking. (When a wave hits you, return to a place where you recognize the exits, and then swim back to the last-known spot you were at).

Flying doesn't work for the underwater bits-- I've spent far too much time mapping the Seas, as well. Can't bring myself to finish the Inner Sea... I need to, just so I can find that Clam when I want to. The complete Sea of Despair is less useful.
Caffrey2007-05-19 16:12:42
Perserverance!

Each time a wave struck I would go back to a easily identifiable point and start again. Actually I need to go back down there and check a couple of things.

And here I was hoping against hope that maybe you had come up with a better method. Ah well! I shall finish the Inner Sea.

Someday.

This is great. Now I only need someone to take me exploring.

Heh, sadly not. I kept hoping that artifact for flying would be modified to include waves, or a similar artifact for waves would be made. Like Pendant of the Whirlpool or some such thing. I briefly considered working out the up down connections (at least within zmud) but quickly realised the madness of such an endeavour!

Well, I can't do it myself. The cavefishers almost kill me in one hit.
