Kephera's = Horkval.

And Horkvals were ridiculously, unbelievably, stupidly OP.

(Well, maybe not, but that's how I remember them... so yeah.)

Kinda glad they're on the 'Light' side...

Hrokvals were only overpowered because of there abusivness when combined with monks and there leap ability... which wouldn't mean much here given that leaping, and tumbling are requirements to fight in Lusternia, so most fighters already have those.

Kephera Hive clan already. whatthe.gif

Callia, are you planning on getting a throne, and having a thrall of lethal Handmaidens at your side?
Callia2007-05-14 04:19:17
No... but that sounds fun...

And of course there is a clan already... the nature of Kephera lends itself to it so well, figure I might as well go for the first :-p

Horkvals were only overpowered if you were an Ashuran with Icon.

Otherwise known as the good old days. dreamer.gif

I am actually quite happy with the Kephera after my first day. I havn't got a lot of time to PVP with them, but as a Knight, I seemed to be pretty good at mitigating most damage... and wounding was less then I used to, but not that much. I need to be a little more creative with my poisons, and aim for bleeding afflictions in the early game, but combined with my tankiness, having a delyed endgame is not that big of a deal.

I am very happy with the female Kephera, plus I have been having a lot of fun with the RP, trying to figure it all out, and take queues from the Undervault, and merge it with the 'real world' of the Basin.

Any bards who's a kephera (apart from Doman)?

I'm a fanatical influencer and my char is currently an elf. I tossed up between Faelings and Elfs because of Faelings crappy tank-ability.

Donno if it's worth kephera-ing.

Kephera are a bad bard race, well male anyway, I cant exactly test female. Honestly out of the two new races, Illithoid are definately a lot better for bards than Kephera.
Arin2007-05-14 10:39:49
Apart from Celest looks down on Illithoids.

So does Serenwilde. Illithoids are only really a choice in Glomdoring and Magnagora.

Viravain hates illithoids.

Makes me wish rogues were possible in Lusternia.

Viravain can GTFO. I'm keeping my Dsiri.

Or a mage with diamond skin before it was changed. suspicious.gif

Here's something i'm curious about. How does a keph with robes compare to someone in something like 100/100 fullplate?

I've heard the level 3 resistance is 60/60 armor. So, I presume that keph with robes = 60+robecutting/60+robeblunt when factoring in damage, and just the robes when factoring in wounds? Thats all just guessing and going on rumor though.

Yeah, a keph without robes is going to go under VERY quickly against a wounding warrior. Possibly against elemental damage too.. (no proofs after all).

EDIT: Behead and such would be a big problem too. No helm after all.
