Well, I don't think the Kephera resistances will cover wounding. Le -OUCH-.

Males need more strength (maybe con?). In all of the hives, all but the King are warriors, monks, etc. They need to be stronger to fit with that. :S

Iii just want to understand if i'm missing something. Does boosting your max ego serve any purpose if you have horrible charisma?

RE: Ego boost - Less susceptibility to ego kills.

Compensates for it slightly.

My opinion is that they're going to end up RP races. Really nice abilities, but no combat stats.

Kinda like base faelings, but more extreme.

...except that max ego boost = getting more drained per use of an enemy skill. So I'm not sure how well that would actually work out in the end.

And their regen really does need to be underground period.. not just at night.

WTF? With 7 CHA? You're going to get MindBursted easy, even with a boost. That's just about THE crappiest CHA in the game. And Mindread - NERF PLS. You just killed a part of the Bookbinder profession.

Depends upon how good the boost is.

Actually, they don't "need" to be. Due to their more dexterous nature and lesser mental / charismatic strength, of the males/females, they're the more suited to warrior roles-- hence, they are assigned to be the "lesser warrior caste". Now, it might be useful if they were improved, but it does make sense as-is, roleplay-wise.

It boosts max ego, so it will increase your sip and everything too. It essentially allows them to have big ego without big charisma.. except that big ego is sort of useless without the charisma to back it up. So eh.

Illithoids

The boost is 50 max ego per level. So, +5k ego at level 100.

If mindsense is the same as the monk skill in Imperian I would go Illithoid... never ever be jumped again!! but that str sucks, wonder if they will make a nice assassin race to go along with those dex/con stats.

Looks pretty awesome. Too bad the races are useless for combat.

Oh, also.. weren't all the drawings originally done with a Guild/Class in mind? What's up with the Illithoid and a set of daggers and leather armor?

The Furrikin picture also has leather armour and a dagger. Personally I think it's an assassin/thief type of class that has yet to be released.

It's a matter of principle more than anything else.
