Hivemind should be increased to 75/100 per person, since every hive member has to stay in the same area. It seems pretty useless otherwise.

Hivemind probably isn't meant to be useful. Enrage, flamebreath etc are poor, it's just for fun.

The male stats are pretty abyssmal though. :(

I'm just curious about how the Illithoid are supposedly incredibly powerful Psions...but their charisma is in the dirt. Doesn't the low charisma nerf any ability they might have as a telepath, rendering them only decent as a Telekinetic? But yet.. all 3 of their racial abilities are telepathic.. Whuh?

It just all seems sort of confusing.

I think that Someone forgot that most abilities are based on CHA instead of Max Ego now-- if it was still on Max Ego, then with their egobuff, it'd probably be pretty useful. That, or this design decision was with that in mind, before the change.

It would also explain why Telepathy was put in based on max ego instead of CHA to begin with...

While Size may be a 'meh' thing in stats, the differences don't really add up.

It's 4 INT, not DEX. And INT is worth craploads more.

I'm pretty sure they're not supposed to add up, though maybe the male could use an extra point or two as recompense in strength-- give 'em 13 base str or something? Still not very useful as a warrior if they can't wear plate, even with this change. It'd also explain their use as slaves/servants-- "Go carry it for us, you brainless little men."

Yeah. I remember Mindblast and stuff used to be based on Max Ego, but rather than putting in a cap as a result of faeling demigods with blessings, they just reverted it to Cha.

I know that Id's channel speed is still based on current ego, right? At least that's something. But still, for bashing, a faeling is still a better choice for a TK. An Illithoid TK with max charisma buffs, at level 98, will have like.. ~8000 or so ego? While a Faeling would be running at like ~6,000 ego, but with a better sip aaaand better intelligence?

Kinda sad that a Psionically adept race is outshown by the guys who are supposed to be intune with Nature

If Kephera has at least 3 STR more I would so change into one... even though they have that crappy no armour thingie... even though they have a Natural 60/60 armour on them
