Bloody scalps (Which warriors can make by means of using a skill and a stupid victim) should be wearable as hats.
Yrael2007-05-17 05:18:13
I demand credit for my idea. Even though it was a way for Illithoid's to have hair.
Lysandus2007-05-17 05:19:02
a necklace of ears or perhaps skulls from skinning lopped heads other than using them as a trophy for a more gruesome effect

Or maybe a skill for skinning corpses.
And making dresses out of skin.
Yesssssss.

Books bound in human (merian?) skin are a must for Magnagora.
Aiakon should put the library there on issuing a limited edition set of books on the Basin, all bound not only in the skin of the appropriate race but also in the skin of a specific and notorious person of that race. Could be a great fundraiser. Endless possibilities. Collectibles.
Suggestions on book titles, with appropriately named bindings, welcomed.
E.g. Sushi - the most dangerous cuisine bound in Forren.

We have many of these things!
"scroll89009" a scroll of shimmering merian scales
This scroll is expertly bound of fine merian scales, interspersed with
gems and fastened sightly to a writing surface of dried and treated
leather. When at rest and thus tightly coiled, the exterior appears to
be a glimmering silver-blue sheet. Laid over this aquatically-themed
exterior are small chips of cut sapphire, set into cleverly fashioned
hollows within the scaly cover. The interior is of fine, light hide,
bleached to whiteness and making an impeccably clean contrast with the
blue-silver outer coating. A ring of thinner, stretched flesh and scale,
is bound loosely to the edge of the scroll so that it might be tied and
tightly furled when not in use. Though possibly thought rough at first
glance, the careful setting of the scales and a glossy coating of tint
has rendered them smooth and supple to the touch, thus not impeding the
flexibility of the scroll itself. Blazoned across the back of the
scroll, opposite the writing surface is a symbol in red ink. A design of
an hourglass, set within a circle, and divided into four by a cross.
It is entitled "An Open Letter" and the author is listed as being Archmage Aiakon d'Murani. This original book belongs to The Halls of the Void and must be returned in the next Lusternian day or so. It is sealed and cannot be copied. It is written in
the common tongue. It is sealed and cannot be copied or translated.
Type MORE to continue reading. (98% shown)
"necklace9024" a necklace made of ears and scalps
This gruesome necklace is made out of sliced ears and scalps taken in
battle from some poor souls. Dried blood stains can still be seen on the
ears and scalps. Those war trophies are tied next to each other along a
thin rope.
It has 69 months of usefulness left.
It weighs 8 ounce(s).
It bears the distinctive mark of General Aiakon d'Murani, Crimson Prelate.
It is enchanted with the web spell, holding 21 charges.
urrr...
"keg136872" a novelty furrikin keg
With each paw nailed to a leg of the basic wooden frame, this fox
furrikin crouches in an unnatural pose. Long incisions, subsequently
sewn together show where the furrikin was disembowelled, and similarly
the fox head shows signs of removal and reattachment. Nevertheless,
there is little to indicate how the large platinum barrel, the tap of
which pokes incongruously from between the furrikin's jaws, was first
inserted. For the sake of decency, the creature's genitals have been
removed, and its anus has been sewn shut.
It has 229 months of usefulness left.
It weighs about 7 pounds.
It bears the distinctive mark of General Aiakon d'Murani, Crimson Prelate.
A potion of fire sloshes about in it.
There is enough liquid within to fill 96 vials.
There's also a furrikin bound book somewhere..

Yeah, but they were T-bones, and merians wouldn't have a T-bone. Where are Soraka and Verithrax when you need them?
