Let's compare..

If I bash Illithoids I get a drop between 100-300 on average, 150-400 at max. (400 is kinda rare though). For each illithoid I kill I have to kill their inner worm too which doesn't drop gold at all.

So for Illithoids - If I don't push for it I can make around 4-6k in an hour. Perhaps up to 10k if I do push. Illithoids cannot be handed in for additional gold (or the worms) so that's it.

Kephera: While I haven't bashed them myself (and well can't really) I heard from Ashteru that he made 24k in one run. Revan claimed to have made 30k in about 30 min. So that's about double to thrice as much what you can make from Illithoids.

Usually this wouldn't be a problem - just bash whatever side you like more. In this case however Seren and Celest -can't- really start bashing the kephera. We were 'set up' to work with them, and even have them train us in monk. You can't really go and bash them now and -help- the soulless shards.

From what I know currently you cannot hand in Illithoid for gold out of RP reasons. But perhaps there could be something added to hand in their inner worm for gold? Anything to make this a bit more balanced?

Well, for the 150 or so Illithoids with 200 gold per drop, you can get to aroun 20k+ from it easily. So, all you need is a place to sell them for gold. (Gold is pretty crappy for Kephera, btw, you need a BIG amount of them, like 100+, to make any decent gold off of it.)

Yes, since we've established that kephera and illithoid are about the same level, the gold drop of both should be about the same too. The reason I see why kephera come out atop in terms of gold is because you can hand them in for gold while the illithoid can't.

From what I know you can't hand in the illithoid for rp reasons.. but does that necessarily have to apply to their inner worm too? Couldn't you hand that in for them to utterly destroy it or something (and you getting a bit of gold for it that is)?
