It's all Gelo's fault for asking tongue.gif
Besides, that was an autosipper. For hunting.
We're talking about reflexes. For combat.

Edit: Ok, I've gone mad and have decided to try make a semi-reflexive system. What would be the best way to do it? Use variables for the afflictions or just trigger the cures to each affliction line?

Track things in variables. Simple reflexes can fail on a single attack that has a double affliction, not to mention masked afflictions and having to diagnose to sync up your tracking.

I just do symptom lines, it gets dangerous when it comes to slitlocks or windlocks though.

Just so you all know, nexus is an uber laggy client, I would avoid it if at all possible. Mushclient is ACTUALLY free now, so I suggest you learn that, it's much more powerful, and I can give out an autosipping script for lua if anyone wants it, even though it's pretty mediocre.

Using nexus is all about the portability and lack of downloading, has nothing to do with being Free.

You can actually get the same thing with Mudbot.

In the archives page, pressing the "export XML" thing will just give you the whole system as text.

WHAT!?!? I just spent two days reverse engineering the protocol so I could edit my system as text. Now I'm cursing myself for not checking more carefully here first... cry.gif

Just to be sure... wouldnt making a FULL cure system for nexus slow down nexus to a turtle walking through molasses with a weight attached?
