If he can make somebody explode that means he would be able to avoid being lynched by killing somebody who voted for him (but he would die) so we'd have 3 deads in one day provided we weren't too shocked to lynch somebody else.

Is that scummy strategy (lots of deads) or townie strategy? I am asking because I am not sure so don't take this as a rethorical question and somebody help me

It would end the day, so two people would be dead, not three.

Also, whats the point in killing somebody who is voting for me just because I'm going to be lynched? That seems really counter productive.

If I hadn't been known, I could have used the ability to kill someone who claims to be scum thinking that they will not be able to be harmed (like some sort of lynch immunity). But who knows what other roles are in the game.

To be honest, I wouldn't know how to use it properly and so probably wouldn't.

I do? I've said a fair bit I thought, more than some others. Don't just throw around suspicions for the sake of it or people will start thinking you're trying to create paranoia.

You could use your power in a least two useful ways but I'm not going to say them out here in the open just yet. Maybe when we have some more information.

That was one post, not several And I was actually drunk so I forgot I even posted it.

I was honestly unsure about who you were addressing, that's why I asked that question. I didn't want to throw out an answer to something I wasn't asked.

I have a few questions I want to ask people though

I haven't pulled the newbie card! It's just that I have the sense of strategy of a lemming... So I prefer to avoid voting for somebody who is innocent like I always do by mistake by misinterpreting their strategy. And the power Daganev has I haven't never seen it either. First days always seem very confusing to me

I don't try to be quiet. It's more I just don't have anything to say right now. I really have no one to call scum. I guess if I'd have to say anyone it would be Shayle. Just because she seems to have just bandwagoned nad has really only spoken to vote. I really have no idea and my reason for her to be scum seems fairly light too me. All in all my play style is too stay quite until i really have something to say

If everyone stayes quiet then the game dies very quickly.

Anyway, now I'm just waiting on Shiri to respond to my question and I guess I'd like to hear Shayle respond to what you just said Othero.

It might be a little unfair to label Shayle as scummy based solely on that, though. I'm looking more, personally, at people's reactions, trying to sort out trends, those sorts of things.

I have voted for two people so far. I voted for you, Quidgyboo, and got my very first OMGUS, which made me nervous, so I voted for Bali, who had called me untrustworthy and voted for me, thereby doing an OMGUS of my own, before I even knew what it was!

Is that bandwagoning? I'm new to the game, but I'm not new to the English language. As far as I can tell, Bali doesn't have all that many votes.

Anyway, I stopped changing my vote because I have no freaking clue what is going on, and I don't feel I'm adding much by posting. What am I supposed to be posting anyway? (I also don't understand who I am, or how much who I am really affects the game, but I will sort that out with requiem when I bug him with Round 2 of Stupid Noob Questions.)

I had a similar problem, actually, so I'm generally just guessing at the details.

No one really knows what they should be saying on day one, that's why sometimes people ask fairly random questions. Say anything, everything, ask whatever you want, but just don't stay silent. Lurkers get killed sometimes for the simple fact that they add nothing to the game (not saying you're lurking at the moment, just a general comment).

Oh and don't let OMGUS votes bother you, they're just a silly name for votes .

I'm keeping my vote on Daganev right now. He leapt at Quid's throat a little, essentially saying "OMG You didn't post anything when you were drunk! You must be scum!" which was a little... odd.

Other than that, I don't have much to say. I rarely do. :/

i wasn't saying shayle was scum. Just that I really had no idea on who was scum and she looked a little bit scummy to me. Thugh it could just be that she's new to the game

I don't think I'm being defensive, but if I am it's because Daganev is acting scummy and accusing me of being scummy on an illogical basis. I think someone asked me a question on the previous page so double post coming.

It isn't the opposite.

Voting for a logical reason > bandwagoning > voting for an incorrect/illogical reason. The former we don't really have any of on day 1, therefore people tend to do the middle strategy because the latter (as you are demonstrating) is strictly worse.
