I created a new signature with Photoshop, ULeaD, and using colored pencils as well as some watercolors. Thoughts?

You should see some stuff a few of my friends can do. I look at their work they do on Photoshop, and I suddenly feel like I've shrunk to the size of a misquito.
vorld2007-06-02 01:31:31
this is still lightyears better than what I can do.
Yrael2007-06-02 01:39:00
I like the hood edge, especially.
Druken2007-06-02 02:56:04
Very lovely! I wish I had a snazzy signature.

That's a very lovely signature. I wish I had your talent.

Thank you! ^^ I've been doing Photoshop for two years as just a hobby. I'm no where near talented enough to throw out some of the work these professional artists can. I leave the art-fancy-shmancy stuff to them, and they leave the writing to me. Though, Mercedes Lackey and Puimun can do both. Makes me steam with jealousy. Lol :envy:

My point was that that is alot of work just for a forum signature. Did you create the background and girl /w the hood or are those just stock images?

The background wasn't stock. But the girl with the hood was. I added in the frayed edges with colored pencil and then softened the edges around with some water color. The background was like a reddish hue before my color was finished. The butterfly and the design were both brushes in Photoshop.
I like to design Forum signatures. I feel it can personify the character quite well. Besides, I graduated from grad, and now I have no idea what to do with my free time. Its driving me insane.

Marina, every time you post - I cannot help but drool over that signature. It is very, very nice.
Unknown2007-06-02 21:32:17
Thank you! ^^ I just found a bit of a problem with it though. Some of my pixel shading is off.

Beautiful sig, just seems a bit too tall. I usually try to keep mine around 100-150px tall. I think the one below it with the pink is perfect, though.
Amarysse2007-06-02 23:29:58
It's very pretty, but I think the space you're using, combined with the other signatures, is a bit much. You might try either reducing the larger one, or eliminating the other.
