Just a question, is there a way for to stop the editor cutting out spaces turning

It's not the editor, it's zMud.
Go down to the bottom of zMud and click the little computer and gun icons (bottom right-hand corner). Turn off parsing and triggers.
It's a good idea to do this anyways, or you get little things like "ew" turning into "eat wormwood" in the middle of a post, or something.

I do that anyway because it always cuts out crlfs. Might log with nexus and see if that works for me

that's what it does when there are too many characters on a line. Make the line shorter and it will respace out.

Thanks, turns out the length is 72 characters so it's all nice and pretty now

You could always try using ZMUD's built in editor by doing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER. It pops up a new window that works like the editor in Nexus.
