Ok I'm stumped on syntax to the pointof thinking this is a bug.
In Zoaka, I've gotten to the point where the murals need to be solved. However, whenever I find them, they are already solved. I can never seem to start them anew, or make the acolytes realize that they are solved.
Is there an obscure 'begin puzzle' keyword I'm just not saying?
How do you start solving the puzzle?

Sometimes, denizens require you to utter a more or less exact phrase to trigger a reaction. In this case, you have to say "puzzle" to trigger the little speech, and then when they ask you if you would help them, say "I will help you solve the puzzle." That should work.

Please don't post hints or walkthroughs.

But this wasn't a hint or walkthrough, it was simply pointing out an annoying mechanic of having to word things right. It would be silly, in my opinion, to think that getting the words right (in front of a mural which you know you need to solve) is part of the puzzle.

Bleh. Annoying. At least they fixed a bug where the other scientists wouldn't take the phial, but that last sleeping one got me. *sigh*
Hey, at least you didn't do it wrong and get assaulted by an angry mob.

There is a quest we never figured out that has to do with a princess whose castle is in ruins or something because of the sun or something like that...
sound familiar? I have no idea where it is... I think on the other side of Mount Avechna, but I might be way off.

I thought I'd say that when Celest says don't "raise the soulforge" the might want to be specific on how you say that. When I was in celest I accidently finished the first bit of it not knowing what it was. no one found out but the freaky monster was raised. Lol that's my little questing experience. Wonder if anyone else has done something like that..

Yeah. I was the first one to summon that freaky monster. Fortunately, the quest wasn't originally coded to spawn an s-mob, so I can safely say that I am the only mortal to singlehandedly slay a cloier with his BARE HANDS!!!

What, that I fed the troll known as the Dread Lord of Contagion?

One somewhat annoying thing I've found is the Tosha Quest... If you have about 2K Health, health vials, and are good with shields (and a Waterbreathe) you can do the first part. Of course, the second part you need about 4,000ish health and the ability to cure yourself. Whee. I'll come back when I'm over level 70.
Everiine2009-03-23 19:22:36
It's not meant to be a low level or easy quest.
Unknown2009-03-23 22:04:47
Also, bring friends. Level 70 won't help. Or 80. If the spirits gang up on you, especially together with the hunter, you're dead.
Kiradawea2009-03-24 08:48:10
The quest still doesn't give any warning regarding what you're getting into. That's the big problem with the Tosha quest.

I'm trying to work on the Clarramore quest and I have all the bits and pieces... but I cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to get Fredegare to give me the fertiliser so I can get a friggin' apple and get the ball rolling. I kill all the thingies, I spray the stuff, everything is cool, and after that nothing happens. He reacts to nothing, nothing I give him makes him do anything. He says he needs stuff to make the fertiliser so I go to get it, and he ends up keeping it and just says he will use that for later.
WHY.
I would also like to figure out how to get Hyacinth/Herbert to order the dang perfume. But I suppose that comes later.
(also I hope I didn't break any rules in this thread. I've never posted for help here )

That sounds... odd. Perhaps someone already took the fertilizer before you tried and you have to wait for it to repop? That's the only thing I can think off because otherwise you should've been able to finish it already.
And you don't need Hyacinth to order the perfume. You get it automatically when you've delivered all the ingredients, so don't worry about that.

Did you make sure you gave him 5 of those stuff he asks for?

I had similar problems, but in the other branch of that quest (I think).

One quest I've been curious about how to do is the quest involving the sunburnt kephera in Oleanvir Valley. I've been curious about how I can help them, but every time I try to ask what I can do, the three protectors of Princess Khekameti just all say their crystals have been set and there's nothing more they can do, and when I talk to Princess Khekameti herself she just tells me to go down and ask her bodyguards about the crystals! Very frustrating. So I was wondering what one has to do to start the quest to help them?
If the only way to answer me here is with a spoiler, then send me a PM on the topic. I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting my request for help here...if I am, then say so and I'll edit this post to retract it.
