There are generally two possibilities with the full set. Try them both.

Every time I've done it, it's narrowed down to just one possible suspect. As with all the village quests, it's very easy to miss part of the quest; someone I spoke to earlier regarding this quest had missed an important part, which makes it all come down to guesswork. If you get absolutely every piece of evidence possible, there will be only one possible suspect.

Sometimes there are two. You just have to try both. However, shouldn't even be more than two possibilities. It's a bit confusing, actually. Giving the murder weapon to the suspects and saying the other people's name in front of them are two different bits of information.

That aside from the fact the things to check are well hidden.

I'm doing the Kiakoda Nature Reserve quest, and I'm stuck on the Desert section.

For the antidote, I need bread from a certain NPC. I'm told to 'motivate' this NPC to give it to me. So far, I've tried four types of influence- empower, weaken, charity, seduction. None of it works. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Kiradawea2009-06-13 23:09:06
Kill him? No I don't think it'll work but he really deserves it. *nodme*
Furien2009-06-13 23:11:58
He does, but shoving moonbursts in that smirking face bring no results. sad.gif
Kiradawea2009-06-13 23:17:55
I was told that you had to say a special phrase or something, but I've spoken pretty much any phrase I could think of and still no results.

the Clarramore cloud gardens quest. I general get what I'm suppose to get, but getting there is the issue... Is this just a big trading quest with the staff? (give X items to person A, give item person A gives you to Person B, repeat until item is got from person B?)

edit: Ok, now...I have given this perso everything she wants, yet she still says she doesn't have enough.

Wow, I'm totally stumped on what to do after you get both parts of Myrtle's shell for Toronada...
Damadreas2009-07-02 20:28:43

Working on the Toronado flats quest...

Without revealing much, I've two parts of the shell not entirely sure where to go from there. But, the children blasted buggers had me play that game. And at this point I can't figure out where or how the heck I'll find them.
Diamondais2009-07-02 20:30:16
They're both different quests there, so be careful.
Kalaneya2009-08-01 08:46:01
Clarramore. I'm frustrated. I can make all the items, I can find the flower for the woman, I have influenced more than I really would have liked to, but I'm missing one crucial step.

I don't know how to start the quest. Any advice would be appreciated. (Hopefully, this is within the rules of the thread.)

I sent you a PM!

In the Asylum quest to help the mugwumps, am I crazy or does the game never tell you the right syntax to use for the puzzle part...? I got the rules of the puzzle and a look at it, but can't for the life of me figure out how to manipulate anything
Kiradawea2009-08-09 22:25:08
It does tell you what you need to SAY. That, and some creativity, is all you should need to know to figure out how to bridge the nodes.

For the Scorpion quest, at the end, you seriously need a total of 15 corpses, when there are only 12 that naturally pop at a time?

There are -tons- of quests, TONS, that require multiple spawns of critters. Get used to it I'm afraid.

Heheheheh. Yeah. So much of that quest is waiting for respawn or trying to get something finished before decay/reset. Pretty maddening... especially when respawn/decay/reset cycles don't occur within the same cycles of time.

I know there are, but this one was working so well within the naturally popping numbers sad.gif There was just the right amount of everything, until this blasted step. At least the reset timer was pretty long though!

I'm doing the Newton Cavern Quest, the Gnome version. Yeah, I'm lame, I know. The thing is I just keep getting stuck at the part where the quest item needs to be blessed by a true queen.

Is there anyone able to help me with this, or at least provide a hint? confused.gif
