There are more hiding places than there are crystals. If you manipulate an item and don't get one, it just means it's not hidden there this time. If it helps, PROBE, PUSH, PULL, TURN, PRESS, USE, TOUCH are good quest buzz-words. As far as I know, that quest is working just fine.

Thanks. I'll try those words, I wasn't using all of them.

Malacoda makes me sad. sad.gif

At least you're not trying to do Maeve's sceptre or Ali'Fae Runia. I'm starting to wonder if those quests can be done outside events.

Maeve's sceptre quest has been broken since the hai'Gloh was introduced. Ail'Fae Runia is perfectly doable though.

I knew it! And they said it wasn't bugged...

Although I guess this means I still gotta try and figure out where to even start Ali'Fae. *sigh*

Same... it is though. It's also the very last action that is bugged, so you can do the 5+ hours of preparation no problem, only to discover this at the very end (while glaring at the bug in your list that claims to be fixed), yuck. Ail'Fae Runia might be difficult to pull off, especially given the rabid climate between Seren/Glom at the moment, as it requires cooperation from both.

And don't forget the broken Zenobia. sad.gif

Hrm. Cooperation? In what manner? Do I require specific members of the commune to do anything in particular, or can it be anyone who can grab a fae-getter item. And any clue on where to start, or do I have to figure that out for myself.

And more importantly, does Ali'Fae require the well to be full?

Zenobia is broken?
Unknown2010-04-21 12:01:00
Many things in Faethorn require the Well to have water (not necessarily full, I think), so it's safe to assume that the Song may need it. As for what you need from Serenwilde and Glomdoring - you need to get something from both Trees. tongue.gif
Kiradawea2010-04-21 13:48:45
That's what I worried about... but at least Arco is illegally ADORABLE!

Although, doesn't completing the Ali'Fae Runia also require Maeve to have her sceptre so she can bless the fae-girl? Is that possible with the Sceptre quest being bugged?

And getting something from both trees doesn't sound that hard really. Now all I need is to figure out where the quest starts.

Uh, yes. You don't think she'd still be alive if not, do you? tongue.gif

The quest has been broken since about 2 days before she was raised (during the event), when we were working to keep her from being raised.

Really annoying, too.
Kiradawea2010-04-21 15:34:47
Broken how? She respawns? She's unkillable? How? It's been suggested that Zenobia and Chtoglogg be given a period of immunity because of the massive effort required to raise either side.

I have a feeling someone's hunting mobs-- I can't figure out what to do to start the Southern Upper Peaks quest.
Kiradawea2010-04-27 19:41:49
You mean Tzaraziko's mirror? It'll be very straight-forward if the mob that gives you the quest is there. If he isn't, then either someone did it and there are still mirror lucidians in the Nomad camp, or someone killed him.
Everiine2010-04-27 19:48:07
Yep, definitely missing. Thanks, now I know what to look for!

I believe the quest is bugged - Incabulos was trying it for his Epic, and hasn't been able to do it. I think he's bugged it and is waiting upon resolution.

Pretty sure he's recently done it for his Epic.
Doman2010-04-28 07:20:26
it WAS bugged. he had to do the dracnari side to reset it because someone ran off with the manticore egg

Hmm ... what's the deal with the Tolborolla quest? I completed it for an honours line quite some time ago, but when I try to help get others started on it, I can't find Hoopah and the fountain. My memory is foggy, but now it seems there's a house where the Hoopah used to be?
