Iosai:
Except picking it up, ey? ;)
Hahahahahahaha. I think, if I remember correctly, when I first did it as an event you could pick it up and steal the damned thing, and then it was hardcoded so only the person who was doing the quest could pick it up, and then it was coded so that you could only blow on it. Maybe.

Estarra:
Keyword "use" should work--if it didn't, one of the five parts hasn't been completed (or possibly reset). It's easy to say a quest is broken if it doesn't do what you want, but more often than not there's some factor that you missed!
Good points. This time I was a bit daft and didn't realize my yells were off until afterwards, which Someone bopped me over the head for. However, I do have considerable experience with quests being bugged (good example being my current pending bug report about Mt Wend, or the GIP cycle or many others before that), particularly the ones that have never been completed before, so if I have any doubts I'd rather bug it and find out for sure so it's working properly and more logical for the next quest goer who tries it.
Thanks for the replies everyone.

Maeve Gardens frustration. Need a hint where to "shake pollen from the gardens" for the hummingbirds.

Just SHAKE GARDEN in every room. You'll probably want to make a trigger to pick the pollen up as soon as it falls out, since it likes to blow around a lot.
Aithera2011-11-26 21:19:33
if I recall correctly, it's just SHAKE GARDEN in any of the garden rooms.

Anyone have any information on the orphans? Not sure if that's an honours quest, but it would be fun to get a little extra experience and gold before slaughtering them all.

I am hearing mixed reviews about this, is the Grey Moors quest broken? I want to do the dark side of Djarrak as from an RP standpoint and OOC I REALLY Want to know whats down there! I've been told the quest is broken but all the parts that I've figured out seem to work. Soo I guess is it broken?
Ixion2011-11-27 17:18:54
I highly doubt it. What people may perceive as a bug may just be that Ciarrus has some of the keystone (aka not in statues). Fret not, it does a full reset every so often I believe. The entire quest can be done in under an hour if you know what to do.

Ixion:
It's working last I checked.
According to Ix, it's working, and I'll believe that. The problem is that the mobs for it will be dead at least 85% of the time, making it that much trickier.

Someone needs to finish off Castle Djarrakh. :(

I've been trying to do the good side. :(

I meant the area. It isn't complete.

Agree there, I've always hoped castle would lead to more- so much coolness potential :/

Not sure this belongs in this thread (exactly)... but I don't see why it wouldn't.
Trying to navigate my way through Muud. I understand the basics of how boils/cestodes open up the next area. The area where you first need to head soutwest to backtrack and unlock the southern exit confounds me. I've been past this section, but can't get it to open reliably.
Is there a certain pattern to boils/cestodes? Or is there a general mindset of which I need to be aware (like certain boils locking others)?

They always close/open the same exits. Figure out which each does with a partner and you'll be set.

Okay, Rikenfriez.
Earlier I'd bugged: Quest Rikenfriez. After falling through the ice, and being transported back to
shore, the ice pick is lost from inventory and Ahhuma won't give a new one.
And then:Your bug report has been reviewed and is not considered a
bug. If you feel it is a game balance concern, you should speak to your guild
envoy.
So, losing the pick is not a bug? And I have to wait how many hours to start over? Seems a bit discouraging.
-Confused-

Lilia2011-11-29 17:26:53
Well, you failed. Just about everything in Lusternia resets an hour after it's been messed with, quests included.
Unknown2011-11-29 17:31:42
Hm, well it would be nice if Ahhuma would say something about try again next time, instead of sorry gave it to someone else.
Fayneix2011-11-29 17:32:46
There are a select few that don't reset, but they involve dashthros or are buried deep in Aetherspace.
