You need an aethership to get to aether bubbles (which the Factory is.) Someone's made maps of aetherspace, I forget who though.

Though now I do have another question. For the Snow Valley quest. Do you need scaling for anything but the second part? Because otherwise, I think I've been able to substitute that by flying.

Q: For the Tolborolla Valley quest, are you supposed to spend a lot of time sitting around waiting for stuff to respawn? It seems kinda counterintuitive to clear the entire area out of one thing and still not have it be enough. Am I missing something here, or is this just the way the quest is designed? If it's the second one, it seems like it'll take forever to do.

Yeah, Tolborolla takes forever, especially if there's other people around. And yeah, you havta to wait for respawns.

The quest was made so that even newbs could do it, so expect it to be simple, long, and repetitive



You can't substitue flying for scaling. It just doesn't work. If you're trying to help the Igasho, you need both flying AND scaling, or you won't be able to do the quest. Just find a tracker buddy (they have a skill that acts like scaling), and complete the quest together. It's how Din and I did it. (He couldn't fly, I couldn't scale.)

Dang. So it ain't enough to just use fly... and here I thought I was so clever when I found out how to enter the caverns with flight.

Can someone confirm for me whether the Hifarae hills quest is broken, or am I just doing it wrong?

I have completed both of the quests in the Snow Valley. Without Scaling. Flying allows you to get by. Though I would suggest that you get a Levitate enchantment. It was fun to do though.

How often do most of the quests reset? I have tried to do a few but quite often they appear solved; The cubs are all ok or the people are happy couples. I'd like to do them, I like puzzles! but they just seem complete and I'm not high enough level to have a crack at the bashing ones.

Doesn't have to be exact, though it looks to me its either many RL hours or a day.

I believe it's a few RL hours, but not many-- perhaps 1-3? I don't know for certain.

I have a question. The map of the rockeater Training Tunnels in Dairuchi was horribly wrong. It's nowhere even near close. So I mapped it by hand. Would it me okay if I posted that map here to aid those interested in the quest? Also, I noticed that the Tunnels don't show up when you try to use MAP down there. Is there a reason for this?

Silly, that's part of the quest!

It's a random maze, there's like 7 - 9 different ones or something.

Guess I'll just have to sketch 'em all out. Only took ~8, maybe 10 minutes at most.

That's what I did. And you get to do it several times. I'd complete one, go off and do something else for a while and start again. I found going right back into the tunnels meant no rockeater.Sometimes the rockeater disappears on you too. It happened to me once. It bumped into the wall then I tried to turn it and it said there was nothing there!
I was 1 turn and 1 push away from the finish too

But, that was my first completed quest. I actually started looking at more of them purely because of this thread.

Kira's got the directions for all seven mazes available... for a certain price.

Or... maybe not. You're supposed to figure it out yourself, but if it is too hard, try beginning from the other end. That might help you a lot.

Quests with gold rewrad are done way more then ones without. Myrtle the Dragon Turtle quest is usually open and pretty easy to do (comparatively), as is Hilfaer hills and Kiakoda Nature Reserve!
