I thought: if the naga are evil, helping someone who wants dead ones is good. Obviously, I was wrong.

The backstory behind this quest is actually pretty nifty, even though the end results are not, if you can find it. Perhaps find a way to bother me IG and I'd love to share what I've found.

Is it just me, or is the Xion quest broken?

Yeah, I found that (though I tried doing it a long time ago and it didn't work either). It also seems like the crystals don't recognise it when one is weakened. Is that how it's supposed to work?

I don't... think so. It doesn't make any sense for it to work that way at least.

I think Xion's pretty borked. It could really do with a makeover. Especially in regards to the elemental crystals. I suggested that they take a look at the bubbles in the Aetherspace thread but... I dunno what they thought. I've been trying to solve that quest for over a month. Please fix.

I always seem to be missing a toy for Estelbar. Are the toys all found in a similar fashion, or is one of them special?

As far as I remember, they are all hidden in the same fashion. You just have to be reaaaaally thorough!

Is the Estelbar quest too hard of a quest for newbs to do?

Yeah. I can get most of the way through the fink quest, but I can't even start the gnome one, which is a bit odd.

No, even a level 1 should be able to do it, once you figure out how to get the answers to "who gets what".

I could never do one part of the quest except by influencing, though...

That makes it faster, but as far as I can remember it shouldn't be necessary.

The Estelbar quest can be done by anyone who can get a rockeater. That is the only bashing that is neccessary to do the quest, and it can be substituted by influencing. So yeah, it's pretty easy.

Kryden Valik made me cry. The mobs that I had to influence took (I timed it) over 1:30 each, at 13 cha. And I had to do it 50 some odd times. But I have the honours line and now I never have to do it again.

As an aside.... Where the monkies am I supposed to start in the i'Xiia asylum to do.... anything... other than get creeped out?

Paavik is annoying the hell out of me. Two times already I've done it, and every time, even though I'm SURE I identified the ghost correctly, the "menacing presence" or whatnot is still there. Gahhh...

Not to mention the wholly annoying wait-around-for-night-and-risk-having-your-items-reset aspect.

By the by, does it matter which of the several ghastly manifestations you call out? :/
