What OS?

windows vista

I'm not sure how vista compatible everything is, but zMUD or cMUD are nice, as is Mushclient.

zMud has great support on these forums.

Mushclient doesn't, but I personally believe that it is better. It allows for programming languages, instead of zMud's syntax (Wintin++ I think).

zMUD is probably easier to learn without a programming background. It's one thing if you know perl and such already, but if you just hop in without a clue, zMUD is simpler.

mudmaster2000 is a great client as well. it is the simplest to learn on, even when compared to zmud. i never coded or programmed before and figured out how to set up what i needed all on my own. it's also much faster and absolutely free although you will need to sign up on their website, though that doesn't take long. it might compete with gmud in terms of flashiness, but if that's what you want stick with nexus! www.mmgui.com
