Maybe the Nihilists could spontaneously decide to revive and then subjugate Marani, and like, defeat her in combat and prove that the Demon Lords of Nil are superior to the original Emanations of Fate and then like, she'd reluctantly give a boost to all Nihilists for a period of time until she manages to throw off their control and then they have to do it again.

No. Raising Marani is now one of the epic quests, though, which results in her plunging into the city and getting eaten by the Necromentate to provide Magnagora with... however much power that step is.
