I was sure someone told me that they do waaaay back when I was an Aquamancer, but with my Mythical glamours skill, I hardly ever detect them. Anyone know for sure?

Thats what I've heard too. My arts skill isn't so hot, but for having myth illusions, not much seems to be detected.

My arts skill is fabled I think (though I can't quite remember and I'm not feeling well enough to hop into the realms long enough to check) and I detect illusions about 25% of the time. Though I could be exaggerating...I'll have to test it with Alluran later.

I've never failed to detect an illusion. I have detected a few that I couldn't dispel, though.

@Mitbulls: Do you mean with DETECT ILLUSIONS HERE? Acrune is asking about WEAVE ILLUSION/PROGRAMMED/IMPROVED, which can't be dispelled.

Ah, my mistake, I was confused. I don't usually fight other illusions users one-on-one, I'm not really sure how often I recognize them.
