Addiction hex to double sip use, run out their mana vials using addiction with draining.

....how stupid is that? people carry tons of vials hundreds and hundreds. also...set demon on dominate and use your symbol to dominate and pour mana. it's much easier and faster, but we don't actually rely or aim for that kind of lame tactic. and by we I mean no one I can think of.

So why would you bother trying to empty their vials instead of just outpacing mana sipping by a long shot? I mean, I'm assuming if you're playing the attrition game then you have a way to make addiction stick.

it's not an attrition move. it only works if they actually sip while they have the affliction (I think). That's one of the reasons it's mostly used for damage kills. a quick burst shot for damage hoping they sip and give you time to finish the damage off.

I thought having the affliction forced them to randomly sip sometimes...I never bothered with it much. It's easy enough to force them to sip regularly, though, using drain/damage/ego attacks. Things like mindblast are especially nice for that.

Attrition wise... Addiction also uses double sips unless that was removed. So 1 sip of mana takes 2 sips from vial AND double balance. Damage it is nice for though, if we can sneak one in for a moment or two and make use of it.

Cruc is 7 right now and 3 for sac. I dont see anything wrong with it, but I dont have to fight it. And right now we have to regen a power if we ecto, and another if we shrivel.

Currently the skill is unnamed and can give different afflictions which vary what they are like... as per suggestions here it will have blacklung, slickness, and hypersomnia. Each of which had their own reasons. However I also planned to add some flavour ailments such as vomiting, worms, crotamine, confusion, and pox.

To clarify -this is uncloaked- there is no power cost because its like being hit by a venom you see the affliction line unless you are in vapors of course.
