That might be a bit long... laugh.gif

5 minutes, then? How about it depends on one of your stats or something like that? *ponder*

Zombies that leech your endurance would be creepy-like.

Well, that's why I said the aetherbubble was probably not needed.

It might be cool for a one-time only thing--I wasn't trying to suggest a regular affliction. Zombie Master comes, kills somebody, they turn into zombie, as the player base gathers to stop him they have to deal with the created zombies while a bunch of souls watch.

Or, maybe the souls are sucked elsewhere and have to solve a quest to get out.

I always thought it'd be neat if you had to complete a quest while asleep or dead in order to come back to life or wake up.

Anyway. A quest for the souls would get repetitive. Perhaps just having to watch in horror as they kill their friends or something. Maybe the zombie would only attack those who are allied?

I'm I the only one who though about the ungodly experience loss if you got turned into a zombie an no one killed you for a while. It's a cool idea though, would be great for an event. I'd just want the whole experience thing figured out before it was ever done

Maybe if someone killed your zombie and had your corpse, your soul would go back into your body (and at 1hp) and you'd lose no EXP, just all your DEFs?

What if there was a place where you could fight some sort of mirror-you? The only difference between it and you is that you carry herbs and vials?

Certainly a nice way to try out your skills, along with gain experience...

Just an idea.

This idea needs some further development before it gets shot down/ignored. tongue.gif

I was playing Achaea during the event that was mentioned earlier in the thread and it inspired me to develop an aetherbubble with that same theme. So far I've got the background and history of the bubble drafted and ten or twelve rooms written up for it.

Let's see who finishes first! floaty.gif

can you imagine Ixchilgal in a room with himself? The introductions alone would take YEARS

...I just had an awesome idea for a zombie master archetype. Bleh. /derail

It's an interesting idea. As Richter said, it needs to be developed more before we can give an opinion on it. But, right now, me likee.
