well that serves me for not knowing how it works at all. I just thought there was an ability to cast two rays. So I figured you could cast the same ray and hit with double aeon. thanks for the correction though.

That's actually an excellent idea. Wonder how hard it would be to try and squeeze that through the envoys.

well i remember someone making a post about the rare chance of that being possible. saying it was like 1/25th and then saying it was 1/16th chance of happening. Still doesn't make sense to me.

...Synl, you can doublecast aeon. CONSTELLATION SKULL SKULL. Sheesh, you need to trans already.
EDIT: And if it was me that said it was 1/25 or 1/36, I was wrong. The odds of 1p double aeon being available to you on any given day are approximately 1/4 (would be 1/3 but other spheres getting in skull/censer/dolphin/volc can be a bitch.) It's pretty sick actually, at the idiotic speed you can do it it'll probably get nerfed soon. Btw Sarrasri, that's why aapek aeon isn't useless for MDs. It's strictly better, because it's fast. Waning is SLOW (unless you're a mugwump.)

ahah! so I wasn't wrong! wow 1/4th? that's pretty sweet. It shouldn't get nerfed it's based on luck for timing.
Shiri2007-07-07 00:50:44
It's luck for when you can do it, but it's pretty silly when you can...eh. You can also singlecast it another 1/3 + approxi 1/4 of the time (primary school maths tells me that's 7/12) at high speed for 0p. We'll see, though.

if you nerf it people will complain about it being more non viable in combat.

I know. :(

Healing: self-cures aren't really useful. I mean, they take balance, do not they?
"cure me X" doesn't take up balance/eq. It does however require that you have it, which can be annoying if you go for 5-6 seconds waiting for EQ like I do. The rest of your analysis was correct.Unknown2007-07-07 01:16:08
I am trans! I just never bothered to try that, didn't think it was possible. Interesting to know, thanks.

Sorry for the slight necro. This thread has been very interesting, and I have a few questions of my own.
I'm an elfen Moondancer Astrologer, trans Moon and Astrology, up to pooka in Wicca. I've got the credits to trans it, but I'm not too sure about it, considering that PvP for me currently consists of trying to run away and stop panicking. My very limited experiences with fighting are mostly those times when there's a whole bunch of people in a group, where I just do "moonburst whoever" (or, recently, constellation), and try to see if it went through choke. Which brings me to my next point.
Now that I have my skills, how am I supposed to use them? Everyone in this thread seemed to be saying "go Mugwump Hexen", but I really don't want to right now, and I'm not even looking to be very good at combat-- just halfway competent, so I don't get killed in two seconds by the next person who decides to jump me.
Tips, please?
