I don't believe Shayle's roleclaim. No townie calls attention to himself in that way, it's weird. Then no mafia would be calling attention to himself that way either and risk a lynch. Or maybe a mafia would because this way we would think that he's not mafia because mafia wouldn't do it?

You see, if you're a townie and we can figure out that before we lynch you and thus have one more people for the team I'd feel terribly much better. Only thing I like discovering when a lynch happens is that there's no danger for us anymore and only townies remain.

I think I have done something. If you count, I believe I've been posting more than anyone else. Unlike some people, I DONT LURK. If not for me, the whole Shayle roleclaim wouldn't have come to be or our current predicament would be the same as it was a week ago, people just randomely voting for each other for stupid reasons.

I've changed my vote to Siven because there seems to be a shift away from Shayle and toward him. I'm going with it. I'm not doing it because "aww it's only Shayle's second game" - It's my second game too but you don't see me playing the pity card. Anyways, Siven seems weird.

This is ignoring the relevancy of the posts, and double/triple posts. Just every time someone posted in this thread.

So Siven's right, there are three people talking less often than him. However, two of those posts were after we started voting for him, so he was talking exactly as much as the other three originally. I see no reason to change my vote.

Bali, the thing is, lurking really is a viable tactic. If someone isn't talking, then people don't think about him. The only way it become inviable is when either the mod prod/kills them fairly ruthlessly, or when the players keep track of silent people and execute them.

About lurking being a viable tactic, I'd rather not have anyone lurking. It can slow down the game and limit it to only a few people. It also allows mafia to be much easier to play. If your not posting then it's much harder for the town to pick you out.

Now then, We should keep pressure on Forren, Furien, Shamarah, and Siven. They should also be given mod prods.

That's the point exactly. It's disadvantageous for both sides to have lurkers, since it usually results in a stagnant game that no one wins. It's still a viable tactic, though, in the sense that "it's much harder for the town to pick out out." If you lurk, you're extremely unlikely to get lynched, unless the town proactively does something to stop it. Which is what I'm calling everyone to do.

To reiterate, I'm not saying that lurking is a good thing to do, just that it usually works.

I'm going to go back to vote for Shamarah. I don't know how he got away with not posting and having so many votes.
