Well, he had a Malfoy check to see if he was still alive (Mrs. Malfoy, I believe), and she was more worried about Draco, so she ran over to Harry, basically just looked at him and said he was dead without actually checking.

Not really. She went up to him, checked his heart, and found him to be alive. At that point, she was worried for Draco, so she asked Harry if her son was alive. Harry said yes, and, presumably out of gratitude, she told Voldy that Harry was deaded.

Reminds me when Mrs. Weasley kill Bellatrix. I found it hilarious when she threw off her cloak and ran at her like a ninja. Only except for a katana she was wielding a wand.

About Ted living with Harry. Does no one think that when Lupin and Tonks died, Harry was Seventeen? Hadn't finished Hogwarts, probably was going back, and likely wouldn't have had time to spend taking care of a newborn?

I don't think they actually need to finish school. Fred and George never did. And in Deathly Hallows it explains that students were now forced to go to Hogwarts. Before that they could be self-taught or home-schooled.
