It's officially Friday the thirteenth, ewll at least on my side of the world it already is, should there be any disastrous or lucky changes in your life today feel free to share them!
Unknown2007-07-13 00:58:01
It's my brother's birthday.
Arix2007-07-13 01:03:40
Hasn't happened for me yet. But I suspect I will be dragged to an MtG tourney tomorrow, so I suspect that...I'll do as well as I usually do
Noola2007-07-13 05:22:32
It's tomorrow for me.... Well, not really. Since it's 12:19am, I guess it's technicly today. But anyay, tomorrow (or later today!) my boss is supposed to come back from his trip. This could lead to bad luck in two different ways. Either A) His plane will be delayed due to the nasty weather that's forcast for tomorrow (or later today!) and he won't arrive in time to sign the payroll checks and I won't get paid till monday.... or B ) He will arrive right on time, and I'll have to put up with him again after a blissful two days of being idiot boss free.
It's a loose-loose situation.

I got comboed by tendrils in mtg. That's about it.

It's raining. AGAIN. Screw you, winter.
I hate working in the rain. Either I get soaked to the bone at one job, or the customers all smell like wet dogs at another.
Or both. Days of dry weather, if cold, on either side, now it rains. It's obviously due to Noola's witch craft on this date.

Ugh CRAP. My flight leaves at 11pm on friday the 13th

I will throw something extra hard at my players at tomorrow's D&D game on the off chance that their dice start rolling inexplicably poorly.

I hate tendrils. Tempted to switch back to RDW so I can run 4 gargadons and hope I don't get wiped out by riftsweeper.
Arix2007-07-13 06:48:10
I understood none of that
Alodia2007-07-13 07:53:06
@ Veo don't forget to smuggle your parachute in your pack!
And yes it's raining here too! Amazingly it feels quite mundane here at the moment.

Not so great, so far, and it's only 1 AM.
I'm on Achaea, and I have to negotiate with this woman in order to get a really, really old house item returned. It's a pin that has no decay time on it, and I know from the house's history that those pins probably stopped selling about two centuries ago. She said she paid 10k gold for it from some black-list auction (so it had been stolen in the past). I offered her three credits. She said ten. I grudgingly agreed. She said 'I said 'tens' credits. Plural'. I decline. She says she wants another rare item in exchange, and all I have is an order Circlet from my inactive Divine. HELL no. Then she asks for my house to let her leech off of them while they're hunting so she can get the next circle.
It was really...unnerving. :/
My cat will probably try and keep me up before I go to sleep, too. Whee.

Go ahead and envy our nice dry winters (5 ~ 15 degree weather and no precipitation in weeks except for light drizzle or dew.). I'll wait.
Yrael2007-07-13 15:26:23
I hate you.
Also, from 5pm to 1am, my only (for a change) work shift for the day, it snowed. Not heavily, but just enough to soak you to the bone. I was outside for the entire 8 hours. I couldn't even wear my icebreaker (Ultrafine woven merino wool, bloody warm) underneath because the owner got nasty.

Well what's even worse is that I had Seth's Tiger in my hand ready to stop it , but he was ready with a counter spell to stop my tiger. Therefore the tenderls got played, it's like he knew what I Had and was waiting for what i was going to do.

One of my contacts inexplicably tore itself...other than that, nothing bad.

Hmm. Not only do we live in the same country, sounds like we live in the same part of it too.

I went and bought tickets to see the afternoon show of Harry Potter on the IMAX, thinking that I'd avoid all the kiddies since they'd be in school.
Of course, I just realized that it's summer and they're not in school...

Well, if it makes you feel any better, at least Harry Potter is showing in your local IMAX. The IMAX here never, NEVER shows popular movies. Just documentary type movies. Which is fine and all, but it'd be so nice if they'd play the occasional non-educational film there too.
Unknown2007-07-13 20:13:59
I would never ever ever be able to get a ticket for Harry Potter at an IMAX over here. They sell out too damn fast. I ended up not being able to see it yesterday either as I'd planned - something more important came up. But that was yesterday, so it doesn't count... or does it? RETROACTIVE MISFORTUNE FTW!
