I would just like to thank Good Guy Traffic for preventing me from being stopped by the police yesterday.
Was travelling a long and boring stretch of I-15 between Cedar City and St. George, UT last night around 9:30. I was at the head of a long pack of traffic. I was obeying the speed limit this time. Usually I don't, and so when I see an officer parked in the median, my instant reflex is to tap the brakes and slow down. He saw me do this and assumed I was speeding. He lit up his lights and got ready to pull onto the highway. I was ready to stop, but then observed that he couldn't get onto the highway and he turned off his lights and gave up.

Keeping myself entertained by texting airline crash statistics to my roommate who is currently waiting for his connecting flight.

I got a 100 dollar laptop battery for 38 dollars. :)
So I've been really bummed out lately. Rather then complain about it on the forums, I'm going to find something tor rave about every day this week. Today's rave is for the delicious fresh apples my family in New York sent down. They are enormous and have the perfect texture.

Well, it's been a LONG weekend, but after receiving the swag I did from Wizards of the Coast (the makers of Magic: the Gathering), I can definitely say they know how to make their volunteers feel appreciated. M:tG afficionados may wish to cover their keyboards to protect from potential droolage
I was given:
2 x full booster boxes (36 booster packs per box) of the latest edition of Magic cards
1 x starter set of the Planechase version of the game
1 x limited edition storage box
10 x beginners demo M:tG decks (each has 30 cards and is fully usable for a mini-game)
plus some rare holofoil cards.

Perhaps they expect you to share with your friends and get more kids addicted. :D
We always used to call it Magic: the Addiction. It's almost tragic that after spending over $4000 on cards, you get a bit tired of the game and let your collection sit to collect dust.
