Amazing friends and a loving boyfriend who called, despite it being after 12:30am for him, he needed to move all his stuff still, and that he was still tired from jet lag.

Who the hell is Anne Rice and why does anyone care about her?

Well, that answers the "who is she" part. Now, why does anyone care about her?

I imagine for the same reason anyone cares about any authors, they like their books.

The only thing cool about Anne Rice is that she doesn't like fanfiction. Otherwise, crappy writer, crappy vampire stories (vampires suck anyway unless they're the "evil overlord Dracula" type, what a ridiculous and overused stereotype these "goth vampires" are), crappy overall. D-.

Rave: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. I could have done without the "twins" and the over the top humor, but over-all...very satisfying. Talk about an epic amount of robo butt kicking.

I'm really looking forward to the upcoming holiday. Cookouts, fireworks and a 4 day weekend. Yay!

This is a rather bold statement for someone who was claiming not to know the author just a few posts up.

I don't get why folks get so attached to one particular ideal of what a vampire is. They're fictional, made up critters anyway. Who cares if Joe wants to imagine them as beautiful emo kids with real fangs hidden behind their black-painted lips and Bob wants to imagine them as beast like monsters with bits of clotted blood stuck between their teeth?

Since there's no such thing as vampires IRL, they're both right.

Shiri obviously has no sense of humor because it's too hard to program.

I've decided I'm going to try to really get back into art. I've been dabbling in doodles and sketches and paints since I got out of college, but nothing serious. I want to get serious again. I even want to sell things.

So, I've signed up at BoundlessGallery.com to put up for sale pieces I think are at least a little not crappy. Right now, I've only got one still life up. I needed a piece to open the account with. It's not a great work of art (hence the cheap price I stuck on it). I'll be adding more pieces as I finish them.

But, yeah. I'm excited about it all!
