There was a foot of snow or more yesterday where I live, and there's supposed to be almost as much on Thursday. It's already more than the usual yearly snowfall. I live in a desert, but it snows a lot, for a desert.

I can't see the streetlights through this snow. It's just a muffled pink-beige shimmering glow.

Both of my schools have announced cancellations and we went grocery shopping yesterday, so no complaints here.

rolleyes.gif Dear lord, storm systems do not always effect all areas of a coast line. She doesn't live near Los Angeles, she lives in British Columbia. That is a pretty significant amount of distance between the two places.

Being used to the east-ish coast of Canada and having lovely snowfalls, and now being on the west while at uni, I really miss the huge snow falls. I love playing in piles and whatnot, we only get rain here u_u

That being said, the moment an inch or two does come down, buses start skidding, cars crash everywhere, and the entire place panics =\\
